Elizabeth City, NC is about an hour away From Virginia Beach, VA. It has a coast guard base that tried to help in the recovery efforts of the Oceangate submersible with STockton Rush and 5 others who went down almost 3 miles deep in the Atlantic to view the Titanic! I wonder can their coast guard help in this recovery? The car is in about 15 ft deep in the ocean as oppose to 2.5 miles.

Since youre already on youtube, try watching videos on divers who search for missing people and cars. Its not easy, even when you know where the vehicle is.

Also those recoveries are mostly in rivers, ponds. The ocean, even at 15-17' deep with submerged pilings all around the pier, is a whole different level of complicated.

there is literally a Navy Seal base minutes away from VA beach. Anyone think of maybe calling them to help. They have state of the art diving equipment.

Cameras are only placed where needed on the Virginia Beach oceanfront. No one would have thought a camera would be needed to watch someone drive down the fishing pier into the ocean.

There is a marker buoy for the car they know where the car is. I was there Sunday it was pretty much low tide and the waves were breaking right around the end of the pier the crane was rocking and swaying it looked really dangerous honestly.

So not one camera is around this area in the busiest area no one has a camera showing the tag number type of car that parking lot I have been to an it's not cheap an you have no cameras to see anyhring from the lot or the business right behind the lot glad to know if your robbed in the lot or beach area no one can see what happend . This all stinks and sad .

During the winter months there are very few people at this Ocean Front. The Camera views point up and down the boardwalk. I am sure, as long as there is an ongoing investigation that footage will not be released.

Living in michigan, we have vehicles fall through the ice and get taken out within an hr. I would think a wrecker and a diver could do this quickly?

this is bad for see this and hear it about the car ok i took water safety & rescue in school & i got a seat belt knife & glass pop section of the knife ( it a under water tool to release people under water & save them in a proper trained person saw this it a shame no one was near the pear that day trained in this way) ok it like over 650 ft long pear & temp 40 f water & proper driver wet suit setup there at like 650 am it nearly impossible. ok with my life i hear this never happens but with you it did (i a seal adoption with one add on person ok I alive today because of info he gave me he was related to me in DNA it told what i had & its control & who caused it in me it lead to people in the movies in real life MIB & big brother US goverment! how all this happen 100% death rate cancer break threw the man my relation lived threw it number 1 man to do so in the world! that how the blood sample was saved! I told doctors I believe there something here! there was!

why is recovering the person inside taking so long? why are we so focused on recording the car and not the person inside? even looking at footage, clearly this person wasnt okay when they drove off. if they’ve located where the car is, where’s the team of divers rescuing the people trapped inside? this ‘suicide’ could’ve been saved so easily, but america has left another innocent person dead.
