The Mura affect happens to Steam Decks with Samsung OLED panels. The LE has a BOE panel which isn't affected. I noticed the Mura affect straight away when I opened up the game Stray, and googled something like "grainy image on OLED Steam Deck". I'm surprised but glad they can actually fix, or at least compensate for this, and look forward to seeing it in action, because it bugs me a lot.

Actually samusung oled better, the ghost icons was seen in BOE everywhere and the dead pixels on samusung less than boe this why most of companies used samusung panels

Oh so thats why the video was taken down by u and reuploaded. Couldnt hear the sound before but now there is audio lol either way am looking forward to these updates :). I mostly use the Stable Channel however but this is a great preview for whats to come!

I tested everything related to overclocking -> cpu: multicore - 0%, singlecore - 12%, gpu - 0% (comparison with auto and the maximum possible values). The reason of this -> 15 watt TDP, this overclocking is practically meaningless, my deck also had quite a bit of heating during a single core stress test compared to auto

apparantly they only have the steam deck OLED in mind when iot comes to the update huh ? because i see no display vibrancy update. the original steam deck is complete garbage now that vibrant deck is officially dead. the built in saturation slider is WORTHLESS !

The original isn't garbage. I have the OLED but the lcd is still a great device for a great price. And vibrant deck is dead because valve improved the saturation issue so it's no longer needed. If you want a better display, get the OLED. But it's still a great device

I'd say for most normal people it isn't too noticeable. It's noticeable if you're a pixel peeper though.

I hope this will fix the issues with docking up to my TV that would be huge. I literally cant use decky loader anymore because of docking issues and switching back and forth from gaming to desktop mode as well. I recently put in a ticket about Dock issues though so nice to see that it's getting a firmware update so soon after I did.

You should open a support ticket with Valve. But I'm sure almost every question that you can ask about the steam deck has been asked and answered

@@HiTechLoLife Like how do you handle a deliverer that doesn't have its paper and thus can't deliver to my adress and will say I wasn't home even tho I am (I swear that happened to me a lot of times) or how can I precise during the payment that they need to get to a specific adress before getting to mine, adress that is at 5 mins at mine but the GPS never have the idea to tell the deliverer to actually go there ? (also which support ticket do I open ? I use the option "contact support" that asked for the number serie of the deck but I don't give any number since I have''t buy one yet ?)

SteamOS by itself is not. But some of these changes should be coming to other SteamOS adjacent OSes like Bazzite or Chimera or Nobara.
