Excellent ! Very powerful for christians to come into this knowledge . This knowledge has not been taught in Americas churches for a long time , they are in danger. This kind of wisdom is better than gold and silver . I too have come to know the law of god . Jesus ask ( he ask ) If you love me , keep my commandments . We do this from a heart out of obedience and love to the Lord. We uphold the law of god ( Christ law in us ) . We are being formed into his image by the power and help of the holy spirit . We don't have a license to sin , Sin is the transgression of the law .

Sin bnb is the transgression of the law. The only law that is done away with is animal sacrifice. Matthew 5:17 The Messiah said he did not come to destroy the law or the prophets but to fulfill the law. Laws still apply!!!

Law of Love and Grace The law of love which says to love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself, is equal to his grace given to man for his salvation, it is because of his law of love that grace has been given to humanity, it is Jesus who saved us, through the love of the Father. The law does not save, it shows us the character of Christ, divine love for man. The law of love was put into Adam's heart from his creation, and at Mount Sinai it was God who gave the Ten Commandments verbally. The law of love has never been in conflict with the grace they complete, the mosaic law had its fulfillment at the death of Christ, while the law of love it has remained alive in the heart of man at beyond the cross ... May Christ touch your heart with his LOVE

Galatians 2:16 “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Romans 13:10 “Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Consider the following. Matthew 37-40 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the LAW and the prophets. Do you see? GODS Love and his Image is perfect in LAW. Adam was created in GODS Image of perfect (AGAPE LOVE). Adam lost the Image (AGAPE LOVE) and Christ came to FULFILL the LAW of perfect (Agape LOVE) to give it back to the fallen man of Adams seed. Jesus is perfect (AGAPE LOVE) as he was called the second Adam. The whole (Gene)sis was about genetic code of GODS IMAGE of LOVE. GODS gene code of LOVE. Christ said "Many are called; (converted: unsaved), but few are chosen; (regeneration: saved). This is the very reason the "Many" in Matthew were rejected. 22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work INIQUITY. See, these people standing in front of Jesus DID NOT have their genetic code regenerated with the original IMAGE of GOD. (LOVE) Again, Iniquity means: Lawlessness or without the LAW or without Agape Love. 1 John 3 Behold, what manner of (Agape) love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Jesus said that if we love him we will keep his commandments. However, surely his commandments are the ones in the gospels not in the OT? As you say God's law is perfect; but doesn't Hebrews say the purpose of the (OT) law is to demonstrate our sinfulness rather than make us righteous? I still am unsatisfied that the tension between grace and law has been resolved in my own thinking.

Perhaps the key is the difference between justification and sanctification? So the law in both NT and OT shows us how to increase in sanctification although we have already been justified by trusting Christ? Is that how it works? I hope you don't mind these questions...

Thanks Salvador. I think you're implying that the OT laws are continuous with Jesus' commandments in the NT. This sounds plausible, and I tend to agree with you, without thinking that it is a simple issue (little in theology is, once you start looking into it). Nevertheless, why then do the letters in the NT stress that the OT laws are good yet they agitate our flesh to sin(see Romans ch.7)?

I find it difficult to avoid the 'everyday' sins, such as bad thinking; but I think the most difficult thing is what Jesus says is the most essential thing, which is to live and think and act in love. I'm also sure I'm not the only one. It's a command I don't hardly start to keep. It's a good job there is grace...

Heb. 7:12 KJV The error Begg has not discovered is that the word law in Paul's writings is either referencing the law written on stones or the law that has been added in regard to the sin of Jesus Christ's murder by crucifixion. Read Matthew 25:31-46, when Jesus separates the goats from the sheep... the goats are going to go to everlasting punishment for not loving their neighbor... Jesus is not going to ask the goats or the sheep, did you go to church on Saturday or on Sunday? Did you speak in tongues? Did you prophesied? Did you tithed? Did you keep the Sabbath? Did you cast out demons? Did you worship God on Saturday or on Sunday? Jesus is going to say to the goats, when I was thirsty you gave me no drink.. when I was hungry you gave me no meat.. when I was sick or in jail you visited me not.. when I was naked you clothed me not.. when I was a stranger you took me not in... If you don't love your neighbor, you don't love Jesus...if you love your neighbor, you love Jesus... this is how Jesus is going to judge the sheep and the goats... If you want to fulfilled the whole law of God, all you need to do is love your neighbor with actions, galatians 5:14... love is the fulfilling of the law, Romans 13:10... If you want to inherit eternal life: love your neighbor, Luke 10:25-37... If you want to inherit eternal life: love your neighbor Luke 18:18-22... Love God.. love neighbor.. love one another, in Jesus name

It shouldn’t take this man 43 minutes to explain what God’s laws are. Believe in the death, burial, and resurrection on the third day for the remission of your sins. once you do, your sins are forgiven and eternal life is yours. Both of the commandments are fulfilled through faith. “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
