Every 7th day we aught to pause and have a special date with GOD with whom we would have been communicating with all the time. This is the day HE has set for us to forget everything else and focus on our relationship with HIM. This is relationship building 101 for any marriage relationship and any other type of relationship we want to foster. Jesus rose from the dead and preached the first sermon on Sunday Paul and the disciples broke bread for the first time on Sunday Acts 20:7 Now there is a reason why all of the commandments were repeated in the New Testament except for the Sabbath... a new covenant was made so it's no longer Saturday in fact... Colossians 2:16 says so let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbath I hope this helps 😊

Earth is 6-7 thousand years old depending what text you use. Septugent has different birth days than Masoretic septugent you get 7000 years off the genealogy birth dates. Masoretic 6000 years. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight." 1. Timing: According to Jewish reckoning, a day begins at sunset. Thus, the "first day of the week" (Sunday) would begin at sunset on what we consider Saturday night. The Sabbath no longer exist because the Romans did not only destroy the temple, but also the 7th day order, from the creation. They made the week 8 day. Constantine the great turned it back to 7 days. Up to the time of Jesus it was the original order of 7 days after creation which also Jesus kept. We need to keep a one out of 7 days of rest to give glory to God. There is no better day than the Day when Jesus rested from ALL His work. It was on the first day early in the morning. that is why our day of rest start at the morning till Monday, early in the morning, and not from sun down to sundown. Christians have met on the first day of the week, or Sunday, since the early church to commemorate Jesus' resurrection and to practice Christian worship. And so, apparently, in honor of their Risen Lord, the early church met on the 1st day of the week. In fact, John says in Rev.1:10 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day.” He was referring to the fact that it was a Sunday when he received this revelation. Since Jesus rose on the 1st day, that day became known as The Lord’s Day.

So….why not just go with 7 days. 7-24 hours days and all of God’s creation was completed. By believing this to be true it shuts the mouths of evolutionism plus opens our eyes in faith that NOTHING is impossible for God. If one can believe God’s creative took only 7 days that should be our starting place true Worship. We are then astonished and fearful in amazement of our Almighty God! JESUS said in HIS WORD 'If you love me keep my commandments'. The Sabbath commandment is the longest because it states who GOD IS and HIS territory. The answer is in the verses themselves. You have to be a philosopher to make the simple to understand difficult. Genesis 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. Genesis 1:8 And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. Genesis 1:13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. Genesis 1:19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day. Genesis 1:23 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day. Genesis 1: 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Genesis 2: 1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Six days, not six seconds, not an instant. To give us the example of a work week. Early Christians didn't think 6 days was too short they thought it was too long because they apparently had not read Exodus and believed (correctly) that God could have done it in an instant. But he told us 6 days. Not 6 unknown time periods. That nonsense comes from trying to mix in naturalism (Darwinism, Evolution) into Scripture. Trying to take man's word over God's. Even R.C. Sproul could make that mistake. He said himself no theologian was ever more than 75 percent correct. He admitted he began an Arminian and believed in the "gap theory" but after 5 years he was no longer Arminian. There is no excuse for not knowing it was 6 twenty-four hour days. And one of rest. None at all. God does not lie. "No one gets passed the first verse of of the Bible without facing the test of submission to Scripture. It isn't unclear, it isn't foggy, it isn't oblique. Before the new covenant, people only had to give a percentage of their time to God just like a percentage of their life to Him (tithes are 10%) But with the new covenant we can fully be with God as Jesus was the Sabbath that freed us from the sin of the world so we can directly with God So He's do consistent that instead of a day or an event to be with God we can be with Him the way He intended us to be
