It is disgusting behaviour, but we don't know the other side of the story. Humans are usually not crazy and decide to torment other human beings just because. Specially an ex, and the father of their child. There must be some perception of injustice from her side. Which may or may not be justified. We don't know. To ask someone who has been through metaphorical hell to be generous to the source of their misery is a big ask for us humans.

@arnellataylor3310 it's starting to change. For a century, the mother was the best person to have the child because women didn't have to work and the men did so they wouldn't be present to care for the child. Also, the societal differences between then and now are stark. Men were discouraged from being single parents and there was an enormous stigma against that. Luckily we are starting to get to a place now where both people are judged equally since everyone has to work now and there's no easy solution to child rearing. The stigma against men being good, present fathers has also changed which is amazing. It's no where near perfect but it's getting there.

My Dad cheated on my Mum when I was 18 months old. NEVER has she discouraged me from or stopped me from seeing him. I've seen him every week since childhood.
