27:50 I had almost the exact same crash on F1 2020 with Norris. He went to the outside, realised the gap wasn't there, tried to steer left to avoid the wall on entry and pit maneuvered me into the wall. Difference to here was I was straight out of the race. Not sure how you didn't lose a wheel. Definitely the driver behind's fault imo, you are holding your line into the corner, and they are not alongside you so should back out. Side note: unbelievable how Codies haven't fixed the AI sim times in qualifying yet. Been around since 2017, I think? I don't sim time in quali anyway, but can understand why people do and it's a bit of a game ruining bug (I call it a bug, but it seems like it's basically meant to be there at this point).

They need to tweak the AI to be smarter with your teammate. The first priority at that restart was for Webber to be a pain in the ass to third place and not be challenging you. If there were 2 or 3 laps left, then all bets are off, but there were way too many laps to push for the lead.

The performance chart is weird, I put the difference down to driver focus & setups on the day. I had Lando Norris win the championship in mclaren & they were 6th to 7th on the chart. It's very close though.

I noticed the allocation of tyres for quali after I entered the race weekend on my career mode save and I am not sure if it's a glitch from the latest patch or just something you can change before you go into the weekend (PS4 player)

Formula 1 has no room for NASCAR-style dumps, especially on a high velocity track like Baku. If this was an actual GP I would not be shocked if Leclerc got parked for the next two rounds at minimum following that

I don’t think the time problem actually exists on the console version because I usually fast forward and go out usually as the 9th or 10th car and Im still competitive on 90% AI with controller. Usually within a tenth of pole or on pole by a tenth

The AI has always been OP for Practice an Qually compared to the Race in this generation of F1 game's. I turn the AI down a few notches for Practice and Qually for that reason then boost them back up for the Race and I honestly find it more enjoyable playing that way.
