Likeable player but 9 goals and fourty some odd points doesn't compute in the 4 mill range. It took him half the season to start fitting in. He had one(?) goal against Boston. Robertson had 14 goals in 76 games gets less than 800,000 yr. just saying

Murray would be a great 3rd goalie he was just starting to get healthy again & he looked good at the beginning of last year before he got injured…. He has the experience and if you can get him under a mil it would be a no brainer

There’s a reason why Bertuzzi had to sign with Leafs for 1 year…nobody wanted him. He’s overrated in Toronto, I wouldn’t give him more than 4 mil and 4 years.

I like domi but heres the problem he like many playmakers isnt willing to shoot at times where he needs to shoot he needs someone who is willing to shoot domi thrives with bert and idk if we can resign both players its not going to be super cheap especially when we need dman and a goalie

I wanted Bert to be our Marchand but it was pretty obvious the refs aren't going to let him get away with the Marchand stuff. Edmondson is a keeper and Domi...everyone else on both those lists can go.

We are gonna end up trading Robertson and then he's gonna go to another team with a bigger role and score 40+ goals. He scored 14 goals in a limited role with no pp time and mostly 4th line mates I'd be keeping nick Robertson, but what do I know.

Dubas screwed them with Tavares, good player but is understandably on the way down with age, so NO one will want that 11m contract. Marners a guy that helps get you into the playoffs year after year but isn't the guy you need in playoffs...no trade clause....ooops. Shanahan allowed the same formula run 6 years with the predictable result, now is too late. They need more size and toughness. Goaltending wasn't that bad if you look at the Boston series... leafs couldn't score when they're paid too. Top 10 regular season team not built for playoff hockey means failure....and no cap space.

Bert sure added grit, good on forecheck, but no nose for the net, not carry the puck and pass-playmake, not like Knies at structure, not paid for play in own end = no more than 3 million, so good-bye, = 6 million fwrd to pay for top-6 center. Domi do it now. Lyubushkin a sub-million right D man, just do it. those are hockey players. RFAs, Gregor = fast, size & hits and takes a hit, = yes. Dewar no goals or assists, small, = last to re-sign. Use Robertson & Liljegren to trade to move up in the draft where 'good' players still there at 15-19th pick. Still need 2 Right D, can get 2 5 million UFAs with brodie money, new cap, some ex-goalie.. = without trading Mitch.

Guys... if you're talking about Labushkin being a puck moving defenseman, then you're dumber than you look. You NEED Labushkin as snot and grit on the blueline. Who else do we have that will get to the dirty areas and be that physical presence we need in the back end. I would trade Mathews you will get the biggest hall. Keep Travis final year. Marner has to go no show in the playoffs. Watching other games in the playoffs you can see how far the Leafs are from the Stanley cup. Too much money on the core that does not perform.
