I was dumb and went to a small Liberal Arts college, so most of my acquaintances are SJWs, and the majority of them are praising Antifa as heroes while claiming that Trump is a Nazi supporter for condemning both sides instead of condemning only the Nazis. They're also having a lot of in-group arguments about whether being violent in public is acceptable or not, with people who advocate for non-violence getting shamed for being Nazi enablers. It made me physically ill. I've had family members who served in WW2. I'm originally from Mississippi. I now live in Georgia. When Obama made the Confederate flag illegal men around here put them all over their cars. One guy here has two huge Confederate flag on poles inserted somehow into something on his truck bed. The police do nothing. people are wearing t-shirts, etc. This would never have grown to this proportion had it not been made illegal to own a rebel flag by Obama. And you're right. There was this student who graduated on her AA degree. Her story was her parents worked hard to put her to college, as the parents were not able to attend school, and she graduated. In other words, she is the first person in her family to go to school and finish an AA degree. Sad thing is... she went to pursue a major in history. Hopefully, she will change majors as she is like a sponge right, she and her parents are recent immigrants; if she does not wake up soon and refuse to eat the Left's agenda, it may be too late one day. The irony is, her parents' values of working hard on putting her into school is not a Lefty ideals. But she is continually absorbing the Left's message. So sad.

I have a lot of fear for the future of America and the world. Just when you thought this whole monument thing couldn't get any stupider, the South Side of Chicago stepped up and said "Challenge Accepted!" and then proceeded to set fire to a statue of Abraham Lincoln. In the same neck of the woods a Black Pastor is demanding the Mayor and Chicago Parks department remove a statue of George Washington in George Washington Park, because George Washington was a slave owner. The Pastor also suggested renaming Jackson Park (named after President Andrew Jackson) in Chicago to either Jessie Jackson or Michael Jackson Park. Life has indeed become more stranger than fiction.

Robert E. Lee was one of the greatest generals in American history. The reason why the Civil War was prolonged as long as it was was because Lee was their general. The Confederacy was doomed to lose, but thanks to Lee's strategy this made the Civil War the bloodiest war in American history. Preserve that statue so people can understand that... I am having a really hard time trying to live my day to day life without getting ultra frustrated and annoyed by political issues. I am very libertarian/ conservative and I find that no matter where I go, I get confronted with leftist politics. Whether it is the media going at Trump, Blacks terrorizing people, whatever. I just want it to stop. A good percentage of my College is liberal as expected, and I go to school in a city, so escaping these political/ social issues is IMPOSSIBLE. Liberalism is cancer.
