Because of this video alone I will start wearing my seatbelt when I’m in the backseat. For some dumb reason my family and friends, myself included have never been in the habit of buckling up in the backseat. I 100% of the time wear my seat belt while driving or sitting in the front passenger seat! It will now become the same habit in the backseat. THANK YOU KAILEE ❣️ YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL IS SAVING LIVES. Only the ones in front were wearing seatbelts...apparently the law in OK doesn't require occupants over 7 yrs old to wear one...this needs to change!! 😢😢😢

Oh how awful.seatbelts have been mandatory in Australia since the 70’s and the drop in the death rate from car accidents after that law came in was phenomenal. What the heck is wrong with the lawmakers of Oklahoma? Our cars now will beep if a seatbelt is not done up, they have saved so many lives.

I have worn a seatbelt since 1970 when I bought my first car that came with just lap belts. Even in parking lots and I'm obnoxious about telling people to wear seatbelts and making comments on KZbin, BUT I was thinking if something came up during a drive where I had to do something real quickly, or had to move over for another person who needed more room, or something, I can NOT say it would be impossible for me to take off my seatbelt. I bet there are many people like this. But after reading Kailee's story, I won't. And I'll be talking to my family especially my 18 yr old granddaughter. In the spur of the moment people could do things they normally wouldn't. People let their guard down in all kinds of ways. Everyone can use all the reminders we can get! God bless her parents for saving other people's children. I'm praying for her whole family.

My prayers and condolences go out to anyone effected by a loved one who leave us to soon. May they r.I.p. 🙏🌹I just want to say to the parents of this beautiful young lady thank you I have no doubt that’s she watching over them and is so proud of her parents for what they are doing for others. Amazing people it just goes to show where she got her inner beauty from I don’t know her but for me the way a person smiles can speak volumes about a person. It’s just so unfortunate for people that the lord has to take someone home so that many more lives can be saved. I send all my prayers out to kailee’s parents and loved ones and to anyone else out there who’s lost a loved one and just remember you will get to see them again some day. Long story short I myself was driving and didn’t have my seatbelt on and in my ear my guardian angel told me to put it on the second I put it on I drove off a mountain misjudged the bridge there was no barrier there to worn me it was to late. Only for my seatbelt I have no doubt I would not be here. Thank you lord thank you to my guardian angel, and thank you to kailee’s parents. She is so proud to call you her parents amazing people.❤️🌹

What a strong and beautiful family. I can't imagine losing my child. I just can't fathom that level of pain, sorrow, devastation, and grief. I hope something else that people take away from this is to drive safely. The number one cause of death of children ages one up through the teens is car accidents. This doesn't have to be this way if we only all drove safely.

When my daughter was old wnough to not use a car seat, she didn't like the seat belt deal. So, I began the trip to where ever, store etc. with oh no! The car won't start, someone doesn't have their seatbelt on. I'd look back and she sheepishly looked back. I simply said well you can't go then, the car won't start unless everyone it 'detects' in seats buckle in. Never had a problem after that. "Can't go" being the operative words. LOL! She is 32 and is always buckled in. It's a habit formed when she was small.

Awe man she died on my birthday👑🕊️✝️🙏💟 I always wear my seatbelt before turning on my car and will wait for anyone in my vehicle to have they're seatbelt before driving off. This is something that can upset others but if you have control of the vehicle your driving them let them get upset. I'm in fear of having a accident and someone getting ejected and dying. We need to install to our children to ALWAYS WEAR THEY'RE SEATBELTS NO MATTER WHAT. I'd love to help this organization I don't have funds and I live in California but for now I will keep this young lady's family in my prayers. I'd love to speak to others on the importance of never unbuckling your seatbelt while the vehicle is moving and if you have children unbuckling they're car seat buckle then you need to seek out help in buying a different buckle that will make it harder to unbuckle. You know that it will save your life in most accidents PLEASE WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS FOR THOSE YOU LOVE💟🙏✝️🕊️👑👣❤️ GOD REST KAILEE SOUL❤️✝️❤️

Police showed up at the door to tell us there had been an accident, Rick had just left for work about 10 minutes prior. When we disconnected him 4 days later I held my baby boy while he took his last breath. I died that day. It's been 3 years and I still exist. Losing a child in a horrific car accident puts you in a depression that you will or will not survive. The what if's and should haves can make you crazy. I told anyone that would listen to lecture their kids and buy them a SVU if they need their own vehicle. If Rick would've been in a safer vehicle he may have survived. Saddened to read and view of what happened to Kailee. Surprised at the fact that the most progressive nation on Earth does not compulsory enforce the wearing of seatbelts. It should do. Here in the UK it has been law for everyone in a vehicle to wear seatbelts since 1983. Wishing you all well for the future. Time heals, we both know as we lost our Daughter back in 1994.

to all parents, relatives and friends who have lost a terribly missed loved one, I cannot pass this message board without at least leaving something more useful than a comment of bewilderment, instead something that will give you what you need during times like this because I found healing beyond perception and now glad I took the chance by confiding with someone who also lost their only child, they too spent their childs whole short life watching them grow, every tear, every giggle, every quirk, every victory, every loss, every moment, work and play, every day, eagerly waiting for the next moment, another day of .... -and then suddenly lose them in a cruel and brutal way without any warning or REMOTELY justifiable reason other than its cause when even that reason doesn't cut it or seem fair! something no one wishes for even their enemy but what can you do when it happens??? how to find peace and logic? WHERE DO YOU GO???!! 😡 ...a place of great comfort was revealed to me in a message spoken by the man whom I now call my father : "..there will be no more tears, no more pain, the lion shall lie down with the deer, a child shall hold the snake, and you will eat the fruit of the tree of life freely forever for it is not clear what we shall be on that day, but it is clear that we shall be like the angels of God in heaven forever, we shall all be changed in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet blast, a new Heaven and a new earth has been prepared and ready now, all the old things have been thrown away forever and shall be remembered no more..." - being able to say such things to me? after having to witness such a tragedy when his very own son, The Lord, faithful to the last breath in his burning stretched lungs, even using that last whisp to ask forgiveness for those that did this? enduring the sentence of the cross JUST to secure the opportunity of eternal life for me to live in this serene location beyond belief described to me, and for EVERYONE who would accept the same message of reliable truth .. just TRY. just ASK. -ask Him to give you what YOU need right now and see what happens - JUST SEE could it hurt you less than what already is hurtin? "anyone who asks will be given, seek it and you will find it, knock and it will be opened up for you"

There are laws in every state for at least seatbelts in the front for adults. As of a couple years ago a couple states didn't require them in the back seat (crazy) and as of 2020 New Hampshire still didn't require seatbelts for adults! Unrestrained passengers can kill belted passengers. But NH state motto is "Live Free or Die". Can't make that up!
