Allies could also be fun if they were bonus objectives in an aggressive way: keep Mengsk alive as he bombards a particular point on the map, helping you hold off the Zerg. It would make holding certain regions of the map, more or less dangerous depending on the mission.

actually grant it does fit the Umojan's theme, they have advanced enough in terms of technology to safely harvest the terrazine out of those creatures without killing them, think about it if you compared how other terran factions would've gone about harvesting the terrazine from these....

GGG thinks the umojans aren't technological enough because they can't produce vegan terrazine. on a more "serious" note, this seems to be the most effective way for terrans to extract terrazine yet. Alternatives include: -Using a small geyser -going on slayn and kill the taldarim so yeah, i'm completely not the lore guy, so i can be corrected, but so far "letting giant space whale produce it for us" seems more efficient xD

Slayn has the Breath Of Creation flow so regularly and in so much mass that you hallucinate battlecruisers coming at you every few minutes. I think Nova could just land on the planet and breathe deeply.

@@falsnamae3511 i think the point was to only microdose it to only get "real" hallucinations... but yeah, asking alarak if she could just fill a tank (as in, "oxygen" tank) while landing on slayn for an hour might be the easier option.

Compared with the Zerg, who took over Aiur and destroyed Shakuras, and the Protoss, who are an technologically advanced race capable of purifying entire planets, are Terrans really that horrifying?

If I may ask a mod from Grant's trusted mods to create a WoL, HotS, and LotV campaigns wherein all the ones playing are AI and you get to choose from a tavern (like DotA 1) on what hero you choose to play in that mission. Limited to their respective faction on each campaign like a Moba that you level them up but faster exp while you either attack, defend or escort only using that Hero. (make some heroes buffed and if can, make it like Moba that you buy items per minerals/gas you get from killing units, so that they can win the mission without relying too much on the AI to push or defend). PS: you don't farm minerals or gas normally or even build. Just use one hero and maybe make it like a coop type to make it easier for more players but one hero each only. You could say it's a Moba Campaign.

I have to wonder if grant knows the nukes nova uses are actual nukes here and not some strange nuke that doesnt hit allies. I also cant remember if her nukes in base covert ops act like that too. That being said i also nuked that extractor when i played this mod and left it on like 50hp so i cant really talk

To be fair wih the Umojans, Karax, who is the smartest protoss decided to get solatire from inside the slayn elementals, so i guess it's fair to assume the whales also are full of terrazine and that's why they are extracting from them.

I agree with the "if you destroy the protoss and main zerg base you win" take on this mission. After all you win if you destroy the protoss on Welcome to the Jungle. Spawned in attack waves are just horrible imo. Likewise I feel that if you destroy all four primal hives on Waking the Ancient you trigger Brakk early. Actually give a reason to kill them beyond an achievement.

Something you should really try out is the Predator with the armement upgrade which increases its production speed, increases its speed and decreases time it takes for scvs to repair. Then research the speed upgrade in the armory. Might not be meta, but its so funny seeing the predators move at Mach 8 and melt the Zerg and mechanical units (the bonus is not just for biological)

16:00 Havoc and mothership sitting sad. Tal momma is pretty good when you have repair beam. Havoc is nice but stim is better (Who knew) I have always found wrathwalkers to be mid for some reason. then again mass marine good. Vangaurds are so good true fear fighting them. Blood hunters (the DT) are okay but stunning detection is really only good on the mission to get the DT. Can't wait for blood hunters so show up one day and stun Nova/Matt's tanks in the defence mission.

Too many allies always kill the point of playing with an ally. The author should really just step down on the sheer number of allies and let you custom them more and chose which you want to bring to battle instead of spamming three or four of them.
