To get lavitzs moms small story you have to occasionally visit her at different points throughout the journey.

The two people in Lavitz' house are the homeless family you met in The Prairies... Lavitz gave them food and told them they can live in his Mom's house.

If you come back to lavitzs' house earlier she says something about being in great pain and just trying to survive each day. Later the refugee family from the plains lavitz offered food and a place to stay arrive. There's a small story about how their kid rarely opens up to anyone I assume because of war and being torn away from home? He bonds with lavitzs' mom and opens up to her, melting her heart that froze with lavitzs' passing.

Yeah. The moment he was looking for was earlier in the game, he just didn't go back soon enough.

@@MrMilesTV you could just look it up and add your reaction on as a denouement. I'm almost certain there's also a scene where if you go to seles at the right time you get to meet Shana's adoptive parents.

You missed a previous time to visit where Lavitz mother was really depressed over her son's death and being alone in the house. And the family staying in Lavitz house is the family you met before going into the cave where Shana's moon powers killed the serpent. The family made it and has been staying in the house and the child was becoming a bit of a grandchild to Lavitz's mother, because she is now not going to have grandchildren of her own.

You can go back to these towns throughout the game and there’s always new dialogue. Lavitz’ mom says things throughout the game, like pieces of her grieving

Interesting to note that many of the NPCs have little stories of their own that progress throughout the game. The storyline Miles missed with Lavitz's mother and that refugee family isn't the only one of its kind in the game.

Fun Fact, you've actually missed a whole optional cutscene in Seles. If you went back there any time between The Beginning of Disk 2, to when Shana Leaves the party in Disk 3, there's a different cutscene that happens in Seles. You should go there now, there's a different cutscene now.

Oh cool! I’ll start the next ep there then:) yeah I believe you all told me earlier to go back but I figured I would just wait for fast travel not knowing the scenes would change. Totally my bad.

For some dumb reason the death frontier is a dead end but you can get to velweb by going through the glacier and snow field again. Also don't forget you need to free the original dragoons in velweb. If you intend to fight Faust you need an item called legend casque. it's in Lohan for 10k gp. That and you need the DG armor for the party members you plan on bringing. You'll also want leveled up final additions for that fight. Faust is a secret boss and in this era of game design that means an ass kicking. Honestly I recommend doing everything except Faust, keeping a save and beating the game then come back and grind for Faust if you want to. The gp grind to outfit your full party with legend casques is insane but that's the only strat that makes Faust less unfair. Ask me and I'll respond with a GP grind guide if you want it. GL 👍

While all that stuff does make it easier, Faust really isn't that hard, getting Legend casques are overkill. If you use items effectively you won't need to grind, have final additions, use dg armors or even use the elemental stone rings, which are also really helpful against him in particular. I've even brought unarmoured Kongol in against him and still kept everyone alive haha

To remind you of who that family is in Lavitz's house, go watch your third episode of this Playlist at 17:20. That's the only other time you encountered that family. I'm not surprised you don't remember them. It was months ago for you.

Huh. I never knew Mr Magi transformed back from being a dog. It's just because I never bothered to go back to Kazas once in disc 4. You can go back to Vellweb via walking after dropping off in Deningrad I think since the game doesn't give you an option to fast travel there. And on that note, good luck with the next fights. They're an incredible handful, and especially terrifying once you get the final dust for Faust. You need perfect additions and perfect item utilizations, and a good head on elemental counters. Without the 10k helms and chestpieces you're massively handicapped. It's doable, it's just absurd

@@MrMilesTV exactly what @user-bb2ih5ht4ghave said extra detaiks = to fly on Coolon to Deningrad and then go through Kashua Glacier and the Snowfield to get to Vellweb its a annoying but that is the only way i think a lot of people probably already said this in the comments but i will say it just in case XD
