It’s a nice film, no evil! No sexual stuff, no bad language and it promotes morals, friendship and supporting orphans which in my religion is one of the best deeds a person can perform! Your kids won’t be corrupted by it and may even be inspired to be better behaved… a beautiful story of kindness and friendship, love within marriage and respect of elders❤❤

This is one of my greatest movies that I have ever watched It teaches me different perspectives of Life to measure but few. One, it teaches about love, society neglect and rejection, it teaches me about man's patience, courage and beliefs, it teaches me about trust and hope. What a beautifl story of love. They been friends as children but have been separated when the boy left as a boy. He come back as Johnny Lingo. But Mahana still wait for her childhood sweetheart. He didn't know that Johnny Lingo was that boy. Wow nice ending for both of them. They went through too much in their childhood. But now fate brought them together forever.

I love the original movie i watched in 1985. This version is very nice. I wish that I could watch the old version, too. It felt shorter but the message stronger, to me. It gave me hope, then. Now I am old. I have different values and different hope.
