The Legend of Nong-O: King of One Championship Nong-O is one of the best technicians of all time, a true once in a lifetime fighter. This is a walkthrough of his reign as the ONE Champion, a journey that everyone in the world should be celebrating. As one of the most decorated Muay Thai strikers of all time, his return to Muay Thai is like Michael Jordan's return to basketball. Tonight, he faces Rodlek, a ferocious knockout artist in what's going to be a classic Muay Fimeu (technician) vs Muay Mat (aggressive puncher) matchup. If you enjoyed Jonathan Haggerty vs. Rodtang, this fight is a must watch that's sure to be fireworks. Nong-O is also my favorite orthodox technician, so his story has been an absolute pleasure to tell. If you don't know his story yet, it's time to learn it. I've watched and played a variety of sports all my life. Never had any interest in any sort of fighting sports before. Until I started watching ONE Championship matches, especially those of Rodtang. I now get it. I now understand the years of disciplined training and skill it takes to get on that ring. To take those vicious blows. And to be gracious and humble in both victory and defeat. I now have no doubt whatsoever that this is by far the most fascinating human sport ever.

The greatest fighter of his generation, he fought Senchai 3 times losing by KO his first fight (Nong O fought south Paw that fight) the second and third fight he dominated Senchai and still lost…. That’s the trouble with betting in Thailand it’s a double edge sword. It drives the atmosphere and makes it so unique and so unparalleled in terms of crowd support and fight atmosphere but it rules over judges and often times can leave better nak muays on the outside.

What is the mercy thing at 5:49? It is a common muay thai thing?
@michaelanderson48494 жыл бұрын
The professional fighters in Thailand fight to support themselves and their families and have no personal interest in hurting their opponent, who fights for the same reasons. So by showing him mercy he will be able to fight again soon and earn money, instead of hurting him badly and perhaps denying him any earning opportunity soon. They are brothers in a cruel circus.
