My daughter chose Lucia as her confirmation name. I am 1/2 Sicilian and my father's mother would cook bulgar and chic peas, and the mother of the household would bless it, and it was eaten plain or as cereal to protect the eyes on Santa Lucia's Feast Day. My father's family came from Palermo and this was the custom there.

Saint Lucia, when men complimented her eyes she then plugged her own eyes out not to have men fall for her in evil ways. But when she plugged them out God instantly gave her even more beautiful eyes than what she had.

Is that a serious question? i suspect what you are asking is do catholics have an obligation (for the good of others) to take the vaccines currently in circulation. catholics have no obligation nor responsibility to physicians, nor responsibility or allegiance to obey governments or corporations posing as government. catholics have one allegiance, that is to God. Actually all men have free will but some thru a religious tradition called Calvinism claim there is no free will. Yet, all will stand before God whether they believed in freewill or not. Is not there enough evidence out there to substantiate that all vaccines contain carcinogenic materials, nano particles, including mercury for preservation… these elements are proven to result in heart conditions, blood conditions, liver conditions, etc etc. there is more than enough information out there and each (son) child of God has a responsibility before God, not man to do his own research. if you end up hospitalized after taking a serious of vaccines, do you think the administrator of that vaccine or your hospital or doc will take responsibility? it’s a trial and you agreed to take that trial. Your doc has no liability. you decide what will happen to your body if you take the vax. It’s your decision, The greatest gift we living God created men have is our freewill. We must govern ourselves accordingly, lest we are amongst the decision-less masses who will perish for their lack of knowledge and the pressure put on them to compromise their own health for the sake of the school, the work, the elderly or the neighbor.
