God dam it these movie in my opinion should be done in ai art when is going to be completely highly evolved. And yes I’m pro ai art, yes I know the controversy, yes I know the problem of using others art without their permission is wrong (even do people always used is a reference or stravedo or even copy the art of others look at giulis design that is similar to that of Felix) and so many other things, but ai art could be the solution for the abscess of good quality story telling since corporations are incapable of doing anything except some thing here and there like puss in boot 2 is an example , hack these could be en opportunity for everybody to make there on comics and animated movies thanks to ai art

Honestly, i am hoping for this to be picked up again, And let some other Studio let the Original animators finish it. They could release it to Netflix. I have high hopes for this movie to get released some day! And i would watch this 500 times and call it my top 1 favorite, i would watch this everyday! My hopes are still high for this movie to be revived by the years 2024 or 2026 (Depends). Let's spread the word and hope for the best.

This is a bit of a late reply, but if anyone is still wondering about this it would have been distributed by Tradition Studios, which is a studio made by an old Disney animator and the reason why it never got produces is because the studio ended up shutting down.

Probably one day, But who knows if it will be picked up again. Aaron Blaise can contact Netflix or some other studio to see if they will pick up the film. If they accept, They will let Aaron Blaise and His Workers animate it. I have high hopes for this movie to be revived and shown to the world! He can even release it to Netflix. My fingers are crossed. And let's spread the word!
