While I love everything else, I can't help but be a little disappointed that Tembo wasn't the one to kill Sarge, or even really put up a fight against him in defense of his brother. Idk, I just miss when family movie protagonists were allowed to directly deal the killing blow to the bad guy.

Tembo is non violent character- if he had resorted to violence he would have been the same as Sarge. Tembo is essentially the same as Ferdinand the bull. ( I worked on that too) - lots of animatics from that film here on the channel. Thanks for watching.

@@studioredrobin6865 while that is a very valid point (and no less an important message for it) I have to contest with this: Sarge was fighting for his own wounded pride, whereas Tembo in this circumstance would be fighting to save his brother - it’s not whether you resort to violence, it’s what you resort to violence FOR.

I have high hopes for this movie to be revived one day! I still have my fingers crossed. I think either Disney or Dreamworks would pick this up and have the same people work on it. Either way i still have my hopes high for this movie and Monkeys of Mumbai (From dreamworks and was directed by Kevin Lima) is revived and released to the world! But they can release it to Netflix and Other free websites to watch! Since we have a pandemic, Watching these types of movies in your home is PERFECT! How about we spread the word and let Aaron Blaise open up a donation box for the film and bring back his studio! So he can have the money he need to work on it with his workers. I hope this gets revived by the year 2025 or 2027 (It takes a long time to animate.) I would watch this movie 500 times! And call it my top 1 favorite american movie! (My Thai cartoon is Khan Kluay 1 and 2, Aka the blue elephant and the Elephant kingdom) I still have fingers cross for this!

God 🤬 why this project shouldn’t being cancelled this product could’ve Ben at the same level quality of the lion king and the best Pixar products or even better. But no instead it was cancelled buy the fact that the company that owned get bankrupt

I hope Pixar or Dreamworks or some other studio picks this up, and Let the animators finish it. They could even release it to Netflix! I have high hopes for this film to be revived one day. What was Sarge's problem with Tembo?

Sarge’s motivation as a villain is glory. It’s revealed in another animatic on WoodyWoodman’s site that he lost his tusk in a battle he lost badly in. So he’s kind of like Tembo in that he wanted to prove himself, only he took it to any means necessary.

I don’t think it’s a matter of karma so much as tragedy. Sarge couldn’t let go of his hate, and in the end it destroyed him
