Great story, I've been to the dunes and it is amazing. My daughter and took a motorcycle trip up there from Grand Rapids. The dunes are so high it looks like the clouds hit the top on thier way to the lake.

It's not stupid at all. You may not understand the story, but I do. I respect the beauty of the sleeping bear dunes and I think it is a beautiful story/legend that showcases the struggles of the momma bear and her cubs, along with the natives that settled in the area. Maybe you need to be more mature to understand. Maybe I am wrong about your maturity level. Nevertheless, you should keep your comments to yourself when you know they will be offensive.
