The hero of time is kinda of a sad link when you think about it. In all his endings he loses everything. If he wins against Ganon and goes back in time, he loses Navi and lost his childhood and adulthood later by becoming a knight and then later The hero's shadow in twilight princess. If he wins against Ganon and stay as an adult, he loses all the chances he had of knowing Hyrule when he was a kid and now he's stuck on a post apocalyptic timeline where he needs to help Hyrule to get back up. If he loses to Ganon..well he dies knowing he failed on his quest and failed the great deku three... He's a really sad character and I hope your animation gets out soon so I can check your take on it :3

@@sparrow_solas what I meant is that he kinda became an adult in the body of a child, plus may I remind you, that link ran to the lost woods to find Navi and later fought against majora on termina, and then he ended up losing himself on lost woods and became a stalfos, only to return on this form as the hero's shadow in twilight princess. And even so, if he kept being a child and stayed in Hyrule, he wouldn't be complete without Navi and without the great deku three, he was already cursed before link moved out and took the master sword, he still lost his father no matter what timeline he was.

Can someone please make this man some maps? I'm currently learning hammer just to recreate oot maps for my personal reasons which has been difficult because recreating oot maps requires completely remaking EVERY texture in oot and extracting it to a vtf file, but its hard to believe there's no one else out there who has had the idea of creating separate highly detailed recreations of parts of the ocarina map. I love your work but hate to see you held back by only having access to the 3ds map. I only wish i was better at hammer or someone with good experience could help. Your honestly so underrated and I hope you find the tools and help you need to keep creating better content :)

Breath of the wild got him tied in that regard. Ocarina had a wife and kid in the end too. Both had to see a nearly ruined hyrule but the thing is. Wild doesn't even remember how hyrule used to look

I completely agree. He had to leave everything behind at the age of 10 to save a kingdom he'd never even seen before (he'd only aver been in the Kokiri forest). He was put in a sleep for 7 years and when he woke up the world he had only just gotten used to was flipped on its head. After he completed his duty, the only friend who had stayed with him during his entire journey left him. When he went to find her he became lost in an entirely new world. He only had three days to stop this place from meeting it's impending doom. Remember, he had to do this when he was 10. He had to put troubled spirits to rest and had to destroy a great evil with a power that was just as powerful. I believe that he kept the Fierce Diety mask, but was frightened of it. What if he had to use it again? It's power might consume him and he might hurt the people he cared about. We don't know what happened to him afterwards but we do know that he died fighting. Even in death, however, he still tried to help protect Hyrule. I love the Hero of Time.

@@meking1808 Adding on to Majora's Mask, keep in mind that a 10 year old child had to watch a happy little town get destroyed over and over and over again. And no matter how many times he reversed the clock, Link knew what would happen, he knew who's lives would perish within the walls of an innocent little town. So really, Link was the only boy losing his mind in a town full of happy people.

Nintendo has the ability to do this as well but they are too set on one direction to give any thought or expansion to change the graphical expect of this series. Which I understand some are fine with and even prefer it that way, but I long for nintindo to make something like this. It's gorgeous and beautiful

I would also like to add that it's a reason why most CGI or SFM animators use these models for Zelda games and animation than those if cell shaded ones. I've seen many Zelda SFM animations and HD remakes (especially the OOT in ureal engine 4 ) on KZbin and most are in realism graphics. And they look gorgeous.
