it may be difficult for anybody playing this for the first time now to imagine how realistic this game seemed in 1998. These graphics were stunning back in the day. Everything seemed so detailed and believable. Just the fairy dust in the kokiri forest was a magical effect at the time.

I've played through this game and seen the ending dozens of times, but for some reason this time I wept. I think it's because I'm older now and can actually empathize with the characters. At the end, Mido and King Zora are sad about losing their loved ones, but they are comforted by the spirits of their Sages. Then you see Link... and it hit me how lonely he must feel. He'll never talk to any of his friends ever again. No one he ever meets will know or believe a thing he's done. And the moment he returns to his time, Navi abandons him (or shall I say, "ascends to heaven"). It caught me off guard and hit me right in the feels. No one will appreciate the sacrifice he's made, and all these years I didn't either. All of that made the final post-credits scene when he goes to see Zelda again so emotionally powerful. He knows that she is the only person who will believe him. I fucking love this game.
@ladysnake84497 жыл бұрын
nvshd I feel the same too, of all these emotions in the Ocarina of Time I think it's even more massive with emotions in Majora's Mask era, you really sense that time Link after the Ocarina of Time now that he's a kid again, he doesn't want to let go of the feeling of loneliness and still searching for friends but eventually he accepts his fate and dies eventually in Majora's Mask. Talk about a very sad situation for time Link.😟

@hahalol GL The oot Link as heros shade regrets being forgotten and that he hasn't the chance to pass on his skills to his descendant. Of course his fate was not the best. Good deeds from adult timeline were removed but at least he had a family and in the end of TP he passed on his skills to TP Link and found peace in the netherworld.

ye if you didnt know though, Jesus will fulfill you more than anything in this world, I speak from experience (from when i did Romans 10:9-13), he loves you and wants to be in a meaningful (not romantic) relationship with you. :) “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 KJV “and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15 KJV If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on KZbin and a KZbin channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and he will. Just watched this from beginning to end without a moment of interruption or distraction. What a great way to solidify and strengthen the fuzzy memories of my childhood. I was born in 2000, and my mom bought this game and an n64 in 1999 as a way to pass the time while pregnant. My mom and dad got so hooked they kept playing the whole time I grew up with them until I was 5. This game taught me to read sure, but it also taught me what life was, what morality was, how to overcome the challenges. I did not see this game through the lens of our world, I see our world through the lens of this game - the same way a religion might function for others. I was also raised Hindu once I was old enough to understand, and the story and nature of Hyrule is extremely similar to the world portrayed in the ancient Hindu epics. To others it may seem silly, but to me Zelda is a spritual text in the form of an interactive program.
@Davian2073 Жыл бұрын
Are you sure about it? The first games had Christian elements (actually, Shigeru Miyamoto never thought on a religion system until Ocarina of Time, so I'm not sure) Btw: After the first games and since the release of Ocarina of Time, the Royal Crest was the most important sign of religion in The Legend of Zelda

This Missing some interesting things like a first time of Link in Hyrule, Flight with the owl in the mountain of the death was one of the most unforgettable moments of the games. The first entry into Gerudo Valley and the epic leap of Epona, the first entry into the zora domain was also interesting and beautiful. It really is the greatest game ever created, its gameplay and difficulty in every enemy has never been imitated, its visual art impresses by the beauty of the textures, shadow effects, strong and philosophical plot approaching power and tyranny, new generations will never know what this was game because everything that came after was a great copy. Everything was thought out, well placed, the game does not get tired, it does not get boring, it's gigantic and the first time you play it cause emotion and paralysis, it's an artistic work without words to describe, unfortunately not even Nintendo can never repeat that touch so Disney in a production with oriental technology, atmospheric effects and surprise elements, was a game created by human overcoming.

The most beautifull game of the history. Breath of The wild dont have this excelent Cutscenes . Movie director amazing, you can see the expression of characters. The industry is poorer today. in the past Each angle was studied, it looks like a Disney movie, light effects, textures shadows, everything is natural ( dont Like 3ds Version). After Ocarina, no game in the franchise was so well done in terms of photography. Kariko village and its windmill with the mountain in the background, everything is a perfect combination, Nintendo will never make a better game.
