I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but in Thrill Digger, green rupees have exactly no bad spots around them, blue rupees have 1-2 bad spots around them, and red rupees have 3-4 bad spots around them. Also, rupoors count as bad spots. I just thought that this would help more than the generalized terms the game used. :3

Mininick64 totally with you. And no, it was probably done the way it is because there aren't enough different rupees for it. Skyward sword only has 5 different rupees, and since there are 9 different possibilities for the spots surrounding a spot, that's not enough. As such, excluding green rupees, they have to each represent 2

for those that are inclined to know what minesweepers rules are, 1.When you first begin you will not ever pick a bomb as your first choice 2. Each square gives a number, said number gives the player indication on nearby bombs; the higher the number the more bombs surround said space 3. You can check for bombs by clicking and holding the numbered space, clearing large portions of the board if said amount of bombs is found around the number. (varies by number) 4. Know these rules and it's pretty unlikely you'll lose

Well, those are just the basic rules. There are some advanced rules (like 1,2,1) that are very helpful when you get stuck and don’t know what to click. (In case you were wondering, 1,2,1 is where if you see a setup with the three numbers in a row, it’s very likely the bomb won’t be directly next to the 2 but closer to the 1s)

This 2011 title for the Nintendo Wii released with much anticipation over its advanced motion controls, stamina meter, and even a brand new world to explore! This game can't actually be played like minesweeper... In order for Minesweeper to work, you have to know the exact quantity of mines next to each tile. It's not a game about chance and probability, it's about straight forward determination of what _must_ be the case. If you don't know the precise number of mines around a spot, you can't win even _most_ of the time!
