I'm pretty sure it only regenerates hearts and arrows like once per session or every 10 hours or something, because in Kirby rainbow curse you can't use the amiibo repeatedly. Same with most other games I think

It's free content if you bought the figurine already for looks/collecting, or had interest in it that way to begin with. The "content" here is looking absolutely minimal, nothing that will detract from the experience for people who don't get the amiibo, a tiny bonus at best. So really nothing to complain about ..

Yeah I love aiming with the pointer and doing the shield thrust with the nunchuck. If WWHD is anything to go by though then gyro is pretty awesome as well. For Metroid Prime the mote is way better in my opinion but with TP it's just somewhat of a preference.

People freaking out about this making it too easy. But the amiibos are time locked to once every 24 hours. You can buy about 100 potions in that time that do the exact same thing. It's effectively just an extra consumable. Also Ganondorf will make the game interesting. I'm more interested in wondering what you get in Zelda WiiU if you beat that challange dungeon with maximum hearts.

So all you gotta do is go into hero mode, then you decided to do a 3 heart run and then you tap the ganondorf amiibo and there you go. Almost every single enemy can kill you in one hit minus VERY early game.

I think people would be less concerned about this emphasis on amiibo marketing if, for one thing, Hero Mode had already been officially confirmed. People will think the Ganondorf amiibo function is replacing Hero Mode, and Nintendo hasn't really said or done anything to dispel the notion that they would do that. XD

Wolf Link Amiibo = Pay extra for this dungeon we could've easily put in the base game. Link Amiibo = Take away the challenge of making your shots count. Ganondorf Amiibo = Pay extra for a difficulty setting that could've easily been put into the base game. Zelda Amiibo = Take all of the challenge of the game completely away. I'm not buying any of this garbage.

Personally, I never found the game that difficult at all ( except for some temples and the Zant boss fight). wouldn't all this make the game too easy? There should be some restriction on it, like you can only use the Zelda amiibo every 10-20 minutes in game.

I dunno how I feel about this. I mean, it IS optional to use the amiibo for those cheats, and knowing me, I'd either forget about them entirely/choose not to use them or abuse them like crazy. (Although I think it'd be the first one, since this is my favorite game ever, and I wanna play it how it's meant to be played) Still, I was kinda hoping for additional content as opposed cheat codes with a price tag, but whatever. I guess it's cool they have a function at all in a game not originally built for them.

Not really like Ganondorf the amiibo will be useful if you play on hard mode like Ganondorf amiibo so i suggest to Get the rest of amiibos if you want to play then hard mide then use

Maybe you should've said "Use your courage to seek power, and tame it with wisdom," or something like that -- just to, y'know, keep in line with the whole power, wisdom, and courage theme. Otherwise, Link's spirit will not be in balance to obtain the Triforce in its entirety.

Looking forward to this game. Other than the Wolf/Link Amiibo I won't be using the others. It looks like they make the game took easy for what is otherwise a fair but challenging game. I'd have preferred if my Amiibo collection unlocked more mini games and dungeons. Seems like the smarter option yet they went with the easy option. Like the guy below me said. Nintendo is basically giving you very expensive Cheat Codes

I'm gonna guess that completing the wolf dungeon gets you a really cool item, plus the wolf link amiibo is the only one that the video says is compatible with the new new Zelda coming out later, so that amiibo at least seems pretty worth it to me

So i have to buy the game, and the wolf link amiibo and the ganon amiibo to play it with full features. £65 to play a remake with a couple of new features, am i the only one who thinks this is insane?! any one of the 6 zelda related amiibo should unlock ALL of that content. and when the next zelda game comes out, the wolf amiibo will do something, but they'll also release another amiibo that does something else probably!!

+CrackKat You don't have to buy the game and the amiibo. It will surely be available separately for $50 shortly after release. As for "full" features, if you do buy the game separately then is the loss of an extra challenge area really all that bad? If so, then just buy the game now and it's a "whopping" extra $10, $5 really since the Wolf Link Amiibo will do something in Zelda U, which you probably plan to buy anyway. It will stink if Ganondorf is the only Hero mode, but surely it's something that can be used on top of an existing Hero mode.

The dungeon locked by the Wolf Link amiibo looks identical to the Cave of Ordeals to me. Why'd I have to pay extra money for some content that was in the original game? I can understand the functionality of the Link, Zelda and Ganondorf amiibos since those are optional. But knowing that a whole dungeon that I used to spend a lot of time on is now locked away by an amiibo kind of pains me.
