The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Soft Lock caused by a Pig

I had a similar soft lock just now. I got storage and stored the text of the guy that's in the pen with him, then when the pig killed me it played the text from the guy and I couldn't do anything. I soft reset the game (start + b + x) and now it's just hanging on a white screen lol
