@@thedelordhimselfgokublack I read some of the Arabian Nights tales and I did see Aladdin. As great as the movie is, I don't think it represents nor celebrates Middle Eastern culture. I've seen plenty of movies and media with good representation of other culture groups like First Nations, East Asia, and Latin Americans, but not a lot for the Middle East. Most of the time it's just featuring Jinn in fantasy or horror settings, and even then they're not shown accurately to how they were described both in Islamic and Pre-Islamic traditions (Islamic Jinn are a villainized version of the original semi-deific Jinn worshiped or at least respected by Pre-Islamic tribes). The Arabian Nights are culturally authentic, but they're a classic source rather than a modern one.

A little more details on the jinns and subclasses. Jinns never change from what they are born as. Shaitan is Satan the devil who was/is still a jinn, his original name was Azazel and though he was a jinn, he was very pious and had prayed and worshipped God for millennia. He was so pious that God had given him the abilityto come to heaven and mingle amongst the angels, he destroyed many of the evil jinn when God sent the angels. When God created Adam, Azazel didn't bow to him and was cast out, thus his name was changed to iblis. Shayateen are the jinns that follow him and his evil. They spread evil and whisper in human ears do that wrong may sin. Also the angels aren't of the jinn or shayateen since angels don't have free will.

Satan is a title which means the opposer. It is not one person. Did Islam confuse all those words before Christianity, because I'm pretty sure original Judaism barely has a devil. I think at one point the good and evil were two sides of the same God, but Judaism comes from the singular worship of the Canaanite god Yahweh who was then merged with El, King of the Gods. And then Mesopotamia with Anu and whatever. The parallels really aren't that cookie cutter, so it's *really fucking hard* to say who is a copy of who. Anu is the father of Enlil, who Zeus is a parallel of, but Zeus could also be a parallel for Yahweh! He has a sun god son and a wine god son. And Marduk could also be compared to Zeus, and he's the son of Ea/Enki, who can be paralleled with Poseidon, Pan, Prometheus, Loki, and Lucifer, among many others I'm sure. It's really confusing.

Iblis, and other jinns came from Jann (the first creation of their race, as Adam was the first human). Shaytans/syaitans (pl) are offsprings of Iblis. Before jinns, it is speculated the Hins (al-Hin) were the first creation that roamed the earth. In-between generations of the Hins and Jins, there were the Bins and Rams (al-Bin, al-Ram - either their own kind of race or maybe a hybrid of al-Hin; meanwhile humans are called al-Insaan). These races had always being in wars with one another. Until much, much later they were wiped off by the angels, few remained and one of them was brought by Gabriel/Jibril into heaven. He was the one named Azzazil (Later being Iblis). Aside from the wolf-shaped Hins, some other are known to be as the Polypp/Polippa folk. The Peri is kinda connected to them (just my opinion). In our local living, there are type of Jin race that are called Bunian (the veiled one), one that is from an interaction between human and jin. Their settlement is usually in the virgin forest. Most of the time the Bunians are muslims. (There are also Jins that believe in other human religions, but they don't live in big group/ community).

@@johnnycage112 bacon is usually made from pig, in which muslims can't eat. Pig, unlike other animals eg chicken, cow, camel (common choice for consumption), they barely have neck, and that affects by not being able to cut the required blood vessels, thus draining blood from the body effectively. Blood is considered dirty and not suitable for consumption. Alcohol makes you unable to think clearly. In performing prayer, one is required to give utmost focus and concentration. This is really cool, and I so admire how you use the right sources to talk about the jinn. I just can't get over the images you use for the jinn here... they look a bit like "demons" , perhaps like ancient Persian demons (div) if that's what you were going for? I get the need to use striking images to hook people in, but everything about the jinn from the sources makes them no more evil than any human -- and if they are imperceptible -- why make them look like some Christian-nightmare demon beasties? All the Muslim accounts I know of make no mention of a grotesque appearance, and there's not much contrast with the shayatin in how you've represented them here. This is still really great, and thanks for putting this out!

@ashwhiteforest9078
@ashwhiteforest9078 Жыл бұрын
There are a few good depictions of shayatin as bestial demons in history, and I tend to see that as accurate enough. They're bound to the blood of Iblis, and as such, broken creations with no will of their own, almost a parallel to the messengers of God. Difference being, Iblis is in no way as powerful or wise, hence the outcome of his spawn, which can only mimic God's creation as a sort of mockery or corruption; therefore beasts. It's why it's forbidden to create images of any living thing in the strictest sense of the scriptures, as we are just as capable of releasing evil, soulless creations upon the world, and the punishment of them turning against us is poetic irony. They, as false idols, take on a life of their own and override our human judgement and will. This is my best take on demons in most Abrahamic tradition. There's an odd hint of redemption though, at least if one considers that the law applies equally to human and djinn; the corrupt creations of Iblis turn upon him. And something else to consider, this is mirrored in man turning from God. It's the barest sliver of insight into the mind of God, and even suggesting that is arrogant, but it's the farthest I've come in trying to understand.

Same with Haruwt wa Maruwt, when they are tested with desire because of their speech, almost immediately they are attracted to women. The Malaa^ika are creatures with no desires. Zero. They are basically worker drones. They only do whatever ALLAAH commanded them to do. The Huwrris are the opposite of that that all the desire is placed in them.

When iblis doesent bow to the "clay/human" its acctually seen as the first "racist" event in islam. This is a warning not to be rasist and look down on something "lesser" then yourself. (This is just according to me) The punishment is interesting: he sent iblis "down" to try and decive gods creation. God belived in humanity so much that he acctualy accepted iblis offer.

I read something from a Muslim once who said Islam is less mythology and more "Believe in God or he'll damn you to Hell," or something like that. Is that more modern Islam? Also, isn't that also exactly Christianity? I don't remembed if I was talking to someone or if I read a KZbin comment. I just know I didn't make that up.

Since I appreciate your videos, let me tell you a thought of mine; Maybe we are in this world in order to learn where we actually belong. This means that Fate is not set in stone for us, and is known by Allah where we actually belong. Focusing on supernatural will not yield best results in Islam. If you are coming from any other Religion (what I call "mechanisms" of Faith), I recommend following basic concepts; not lying, staying true to your word as much as you can, do not commit zulüm (can be translated as intentional harm, most likely committed with anger etc.) And staying away from forbidden acts. Islam is considered as "Last Relevation" by Muslims. Note that not everyone agrees on a subject, but we try to form bridges of respect. So far it has not been possible, as far as I can see. If you haven't already, I recommend detailed study of Esmaül Hüsna (simple search query should be sufficient for English translation). Surah Nahl, Ayah 98 is highly recommended to be recited before Reading of Quran. Thank you for making such videos, however people should be careful while watching these ^^

Interestingly the fallen angels Harut and Marut mentioned in the Quran are one of the Zoroastrian archangels Haurvatat (Perfection) and Ameretat (Immortality)... What do they have to do with King Solomon and his time period? Who knows but according to the scholars that is the origins of both.

Salamalaikum/Shalomelecheme/May God’s peace be unto you,The word Djinn means as in people we name,Humans and Djinn meaning another of Allah’s creations the evil gin, being Demons in English, I called shayatin all Demons, I’m not shouting, just like all humans I’m not evil they could also be shayatin meaning, evil and are against Allah/Elohim/God also, the gin live amongst us. We cannot see them, but they could see us. Clearly they are not supposed to come into our room basically past us next to us go through us et cetera. They’re not allowed by gods law to come into our room, possess us or interfere with humanity only there Djinn are summons by sorceress and the kind of Djinn that are summoned summoned, are the shayatin the human, summoning them can also be called shayatin, humanity, and Djinn have free will angels do not them having free will like us. Humans will be held to account my God and they live in similar structures. Just like we do the Marie they have children as Christians Hindus ,Buddhists and other religions they live far longer than we do for hundreds summer from thousands of years, but they do die, Islam does not say that the Djinns are all evil or all good as mentioned, only theShatatin are evil, and the rest are known as Djinns they come into our world when summoned or some fall in love with a man or a woman, and they possess them, and that is from their own free. Will then when noticed they are exercised in Arabic or in Islam this is called Rukiyah all Djinns aren’t evil as you have mentioned and I state in Islam, we have now fallen Angels and the Djinns are not angels, and they have nothing or anything to do with angels. Angels do not have a freedom of choice, only humanity and the Djinn have freedom of choice, where the angels they only obey Allah’s/Elohim’s/God’s commands the Djinn was created well before humanity. They created such evil and bloodshed on Earth that God commanded the angels to go into battle with them on Earth. This is where Satan and his name was not Satan at the time his name was,Iblis and worshipped God so much the angels and God was so pleased with him. The angels asked for him to be elevated to the first level of heaven, then the second third, fourth, fifth sixth, and then the seventh then God commanded the angels to go into battle and destroyed the mischief makers, and once you spill blood on Earth, and Iblis volunteered to lead the angels into battle against the evil Djinns being Shayatines evil Djinns the word Djinn comes from and means the unseen Rağib the ğ is a silent g,as for Iblis who is now known as Shaytan for disobeying Allah Allah deformed Eblis from then on, he was known as Shaytan the accursed one for Allah damned him and as for Shaytan creating anything that’s not correct for ONLY ALLAH can CREATE and ONLY ALLAH for the definition of create is to make something out of nothing, and all Allah has to say “To Be” and it is. In Arabic Allah/Elohim/God says”Kun fayah Kun” and it is.SORRY but there are far to many Mistakes in this Video clip and your research is far from the truth or your research has not been done correctly or alternatively you have left out what you want to leave out. That’s my line in the religion of Islam which if that’s the case is shame on you, you should never malign any religion, or any belief, and tell the truth, the whole truth for you have left out a lot of the chapters and verses and you’ve only said what you want to say like how IBLIS became SHATAN et cetera, et cetera such as the Djinn’s and the angels and so forth far too many mistakes. Sorry but you need to go back and there was it from scratch for I study comparative religion and history so I know the Torah, Bible and the Holy Quran for I have studied comparative religions also history have a good evening and try again.
