2 years later reply. I'm also hoping for Daigo to compete on more fighting games, he used to compete on multiple game during his early days, GG, Darkstalker, SF, also MVC. He's a very exciting player to watch even when he doesn't win. But it looks like nowadays Daigo is not the type that could focus on more than one game at a time. He haven't even try the SF6 Beta yet because he said he had SFL to focus on while you see nearly everyone that compete in SFL has tried SF6 Beta except him.

Ain was part of the blue team because the Pro vs GG portion was only half the teams. If I remember correctly, the other half of each team was determined thru fan voting/qualifiers. Also please show the people the Sako match. That was the legit highlight of the whole event. Sako was a beast.

For stylistic reason. It doesn't matter if it's written in katakana, hiragana or Kanji since it's a person's name. Officially his name should be written in kanji tho.

Fighting community is lucky to have Daigo and a few others alike him. The world of chess also has Magnus Carlsen, who is a prodigy underneath the exterior. Humble, precise, very humane, respectful. These are perfect role models for young people. Just look at Daigo - he's probably the most well known fighter game player in the world, even people like me who come from FPS scene once in a while to check on fighting games know about him. There's very little vanity in them, they do things the right way. These are the people you respect, not villains and McGregor loudmouth alikes.

Ogawa had a reign of terror during the XX/early Sign days. He famously won a huge Japan 3v3 tournament by himself during one of the versions of XX. But he only plays Zato, and he only wins/grinds in versions where Zato is top tier.

Ah man - I'd absolutely love to just watch Daigo lab in Strive but V-Shift in SFV around the corner he's probably going to be devoting his time to that. V-Shift in a few days, Strive in a month, KOF15 later in the year and it MIGHT have rollback if Code Mystics working rollback into 2002UM, Last Blade, the older SamShos are anything to go by?!
