To do with the previous apple watch clone I have a similar looking "Smart Watch-330" with a oblong button to wake heart monitor only records on the wrist nothing when charging on the cable or messing about when off 28 euros delivered happy enough with it.

Maps: if you want to zoom without multi touch, do a double tap, but do not release the screen at the end of the second tap. Now, if you move your finger up or down on the screen, the map should zoom out and in.

This is a very useful gesture which iirc first appeared on smartphones with no multitouch and it is now a great way too zoom in/out with one hand. Sadly not all apps support it anymore

You can set the screen to shrink and show more of the square edges of apps. Most of these full android watches have a few ways to set that. One is the power off menu, you can see a white circle at the top of the screen. (41:05) If you press the white circle it turns to square and your apps will show in a smaller square and you can see more of the app.

I didn't know that it was possible to make a circular Li-Po battery for this thing. I have to respect the sheer amount of effort put in here to get that much into a smartwatch, especially with off-the-shelf parts held together with a custom PCB.

Smartwatch tics reviews a lot of these full Android smart watches. Including Lemfo. They made a 2.86-in version at one point, which had a much bigger battery. and they have an Android 10 watch as well. It works better with a square watch because then you can run third party launchers and everything. Honestly, I actually think they're a little underrated and they're always dirt cheap, even the ones that run Android 9 or 10. And now you can find them with as many as 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Unfortunately Android has made it impossible to do Bluetooth calling so as you mentioned it's just like having a bunch of smartphone on your wrist. The best part is they can support third-party launchers, as long as they run in landscape mode, so you can customize the gestures to do a double tap for assistant or something. Which actually has some real utility.

I used the LemX (Lem10) for a while and I would just like to mention that it's faaaar higher quality. It does have an LCD display but it's a metal construction and just feels pretty high quality, certainly better than what this one looks like. It feels like Lemfo tried their best and didn't just try to upsell cheap crap. Unfortunately I lost the proprietary charging cable and am not inclined to pay tens of euro for a single charging cable for a single device I won't actually use ever again.

I'd expect the tiniest camera sensor possible for a watch, but that looks as good as the 13mp shooter on my tablet, just with a lower resolution. It's a keeper if it doesn't completely shit the bed in a low-light scene, especially for the pennies a 2mp sensor probably costs lol

I think you may be able to hold the power button and change the screen from round to square in the power menu so you will be able to touch the buttons at the top

To better work with normal apps, you can goto power menu and click the top 'circle' thing. that is the display adapting feature. by default it is on watch mode. Click that can change to a centered screen mode to show a square screen window. Click again to go back. This feature is presented in almost all this kind of watch, even presented in some square screen watch for some reason.

my Samsung watch in the web browser, if you scrolled with 2 fingers, it would allow you to pan the canvas so you could access the buttons. this also applies to google watches since they also have the samsung web browser.

An interesting little watch this is, being a full-on phone in that form factor, a fun little novelty. Not that practial, but still a cool little thing to mess about with it would be, seeing GTAIII running on it was the best bit. But good luck using the touchscreen controls, as there's no way you would be able to.

My Full Android smartwatch is the Kospet Vision. 3gb ram, 32gb storage, quad 1.25ghz cpu and a 1.6 inch display. it has dual cameras, an 8mp main and a 5mp forward facing and all the usual things like heart rate monitor, gps ect. Got my eye on the LOKMAT APPLLP Max, its got 4gb ram, 64gb storage, a 2.88inch display, a 5mp forward facing cam and a 13mp main cam :)

Yeah I had the tickets max, which lemfo also use and just use their own branding. 2.86 in with a much bigger battery than this. It's pretty nifty for what it is, I've been able to run third party launchers like lawn chair and Nova and tap for assistant get gesture support

I'm a quad skater who skates the streets and I'm 'running' on my skates in many bends and worried that the watch could become detached from the violent movement I leave my main phone at home when I skate and use my vision with Bluetooth headphones for my music, its heavily used for that and love having it :)

Dear Josh, I assure you we are desperately trying to make that happen but people just keep buying our stuff to laugh at it on KZbin. At this point the whole economy around it has become sentient, got their driving license and made off with the money. Hey smoorez, nice video! It's worth pointing out whether the watch is detachable from its' band since a lot of people probably would rather hold it like a tiny phone next to their ear, rather than talk to their wrist or use earphones

Hey there! I think I mentioned when looking around the watch that the bands aren't removable. Then when I tear it down, there's GPS/Signal antennas in the bands that connect to the motherboard. Technically you can remove the bands but there would be massive gaps on either side and connections may be iffy.

My partner now has it. Petty Samsung is not having cameras on the watches and we have to buy Chinese origin once

The "one point multi touch" reminds me of an old car I had. It didn't have a tilt steering wheel, but I was (and still am to be honest) all about making things sound better than they actually are, so I referred to it as my, "One position tilt steering wheel". :D One quick question...I installed Device Info HW on my phone because Stuart, and did all the tests because I could. Do you know what the upper limit is on multi touch? My phone is really new (Motorola Edge+ 5G UW 2022) and it has a 10 point (I think...ran out of fingers) multi touch. Is that standard on high end devices?

I haven't ever seen a screen with more than 10 multi touch points (not because it wouldn't be possible, but I guess because it would truly be pointless, like you're gonna need all your fingers and someone else's too to take advantage of that)

I also have an edge. I'm pretty happy with it. KZbin would start up again after pausing for no reason. Only phone it did that on, and someone else in my family had that problem on their edge too. I just started using the web version of KZbin to get over it. My main complaint is that all these new phones have no headphone jack and the sucky dongle I got on Amazon crapped out.

That said Id like to see a future iteration of something like this that would let you use the watch screen as a view finder for your phone while using the phone's camera & storage. Sure i know that Driod Cam is a potential work around but I forsee something that would bring back Google Lens (a much superior platform for Lens HUD then the joke that is what FBook has come out with recently) where you could see through your watch face what your camera on either device is seeing.🤓

It looks a lot like WearOS2 so they've probably cribbed a lot of the UI. Looks like a decent watch TBH especially for several years ago (although I'm not convinced smartwatches have got much better - only so much you can do to improve a watch.. the obvious thing is battery life but it's been hovering around 3 days since the days of the Huawei watch 7 years ago..)

I honestly don't actually have any clue with modern smartwatches. I know there is a heap out there but I couldn't recommend one in particular. I have a Galaxy Watch 3 and I think it does that but I am not sure. Sorry :(

I've tried several of these watches (I suffer from hypertension) and none perform an actual reading of your blood pressure. Don't use any watch for that purpose. O2 and pulse readings are usually fine, but you need (right now in 2022) some sort of cuff to measure BP; led lights aren't enough.

the one thing these watches miss is the lack of android wear support. I kinda wish you could just pop up play store or something and install watch apps. the thought of having a watch that has both simple watch apps and full android apps is pretty nice, and for most watches, this would probably be really fast. I'm sure they could hack the android wear app to force it to connect to the same device or from your phone to the device.

Oh man I always liked Lemfo watches. Like yeah it is Chinese brand but it is actually... maybe not well known but... known for not being fake as hell especially in European market(Germany, Poland and Finland regions) It is really weird company as they have the same crappy advertising as knockoffs watches and phones but they actually deliver what they advertise, like oled screens, good quality etc. and design of some watches are really nice, like few times I played with LF28 and build quality / GUI skin was... damn good. Sadly almost all their watches have crappy battery, like even ones without full android. Really weird. As for few issues on video: you could try to use magnifier glass option in Accessibility section. I wonder how it would deal with hard to access sections on round display. Also you could try to play with DPI in dev menu... Im not sure what is up with geekbench tho, but lots of low end devices with weird specs have that error, and sadly no one really get fix for it beside trying to use different versions and on few occasions cleaning app cache and reinstalling(so hit and miss really)

I have in the past used one of those Chinese 1st Gen Samsung Gear knockoff watches. They were BAD. My most recent watch is a Gear S3 Frontier but it's starting to fail in it's old age. Plus Tizen is annoying. Right now I am considering a Ticwatch Pro 3 or a Sammy Galaxy 4. That LEMFO watch seemed fairly decent, looks like it's well built. So much so it's actually making me consider a LEM14, assuming the 4G/64G and Android 10 are legit
