I am still a beginner in witchcraft but I could already notice how much my life changed. Before discovering witchcraft, I am easily angered, frustrated, and stressed out. I always felt lost and my self-confidence was low. Ever since I started practicing, my mental state became so much better compared to the past few years. Even my mother noticed that I no longer get easily stressed and angered. I became much more consistent with self-improvement like exercising. I now stand up taller and no longer bend my neck to look down in shyness. I became more positive in life and felt more aware with the world around me. I no longer feel alone and sad all the time. I feel very lucky to have discovered the craft! I also feel lucky to have discovered you as well :) You inspire me a lot!

I am a beginner at witchcraft too. My children have grown and are leaving home. This has always been part of me but I didn’t realise. My daughter told me “do what makes you happy” so I did. I’ve been watching your videos and loving and learning so much. Witchcraft brings me closer to nature and closer to myself. My days have more purpose and I am so much happier. Thank you xxx

Part of my Craft studies has included studying herbalism, wildcrafting/foraging, gardening, and ecology. When I'm out and about and see an edible/medicinal plant, I'll point it out to whoever is with me, and they're just astounded that I know this stuff. So many people think they just need to learn the material for their job/career, but so often that information is boring or stressful or useless outside the confines of the job. Learning about herbs and other plants is fun and beneficial. I am thankful that being a witch has helped me to be a lifelong learner.

After practicing for over 2 decades. I've finally began to truly understand what it means to be YOUR craft. It is a mirror. A compilation of our experiences, personality, world view, time and place. The world reflecting on us and us reflecting it right back through our craft. It is a deeply personal act. After all these years I've also come to realize how crucial my craft has been In all times in my life. It saved me and strengthened me in dark times that I didn't even realize at the time.

Little unrelated to the video but I work for a meadery that has a location on Whidbey island. It's called the Hierophant meadery and the owners have a background in herbalism and it really shows in the meads they make. They specialize in metheglin meads which is all botanicals rather than fruits. Some of the stilled meads are rose cardamom, poplar vanilla, lavender citrus, and hawthorn berry basil. The owners hold witchy and herbalist workshops every now and then and thought it might interest you 😊

I love this one Annie. I think I've really revisited my childhood concoction-making and painting with natural elements, due to my lack of purpose these last 9 years. My daughters are grown, my work skills and motivation are down due to stroke. I've really been reaching for something, and this has perfectly begun to fill that void. You've really helped and inspired positive things in my life.

I’ve found in the two months since I began practicing witchcraft that I feel more grounded in the world around me. I’ve always felt a bit detached, like I’m letting life happen to me rather than actually existing. I’ve been researching the plants in my garden for witchy purposes, but from there I’ve become more interested in identifying plants and animals from a purely non-spiritual perspective. It’s like I’ve fallen in love with being alive all over again.

I have been practicing for about 5 years now, it has helped me like life more and appreciate the little things. I found a new love for nature and the space, finding the beauty in the things around, taking care of myself has become so much better also. Though my practice has been on and off where sometimes I wouldn’t do witchcraft for half a year and I barely know the meaning of colors and herbs, I can still see the difference from before and now

I had little time to my craft these months and i felt it right away. Along with the calmness and focus, with shadow work i've managed to better my mental health(which is why i have to revisit meditation and such) Since my beginner days i got a partner and he asked me if witchcraft helps me in some way. I didn't even think about the answer without saying "yes". I love creativity, nature, i love learning new things and bettering me and my world. Witchcraft is something i needed and it makes me so happy to see myself less angry and sad. I still have so much to go but my craft and what we share is a powerful knowledge.

This makes me think of something Fairuza Balk said once that's always stuck with me, she said something to the effect of: I used to think you're born, you live, you die and witchcraft gives you a different perspective on life. ❤ and I live by that. There are so many beautiful things in life and I hope you all enjoy them and really live because if you don't, then you're just existing. Everyone have a lovely wonderful day 😊🧡🔮🌻🎉

I love this. Witchcraft truly has changed me, and not just spiritually. Emotional and physically too. I rlly related too when you said about being able to make more clearheaded choices and stuff. And it's helped me to truly want to grow as a person. I used to be so afraid of change but magic rlly changed that for me, and i am always wanting to grow and change now, and conquer my fears, and just to be able to be more levelheaded and positive in challenging times. And it also made me realize that i needed too (and that it's okay too) set up personal boundaries and to stand my ground when they are challenged. I could go on and on rlly, it's just helped me so so much 😭 and it makes me so happy to know it's been that way for all of us ❤

it is fulfilling! It can also be unpleasant at times, Nature throws many curveballs & Far Seeing doesn’t have a filter. But it’s those times when a Heart Centered Jinx hits home, & obliterates some pesky Darkness. Like making a bullseye. I guess those times make it all worth it

I’m currently on my journey to becoming a ‘spinster’ witch… In both senses of the word lol! I love the meditative, calming, ancient craft of spinning. I’m learning how to put my intent and energy into yarn as it forms between my hands… Mostly protective energy, because that’s what comes the most easily to me. I want to start learning sigils to carve on my whorls and shafts; mantras to help me focus my energy as I spin. I might even try corespinning special ‘herb-yarns’ to loop into bags, or hang up somewhere! I am currently trying to spin my way out of my fluff-stash… And I just got moar fluffs! Please send help… XD

I feel I am still VERY MUCH a Witchling and I feel as woman that practice the Craft we are ever evolving and always learning, THIS is normally My drive .... BUT it feels like the Mundane has become so very overwhelming... I have Chrons disease which leaves Me VERY ill when it flare's it's ugliness. Loosing loved one's makes ALL THAT spin outta control for me... I love my Witchy hero's of YT lol my girl's I watch are Annie The Green Witch, Frankie The Chaotic Witch Aunt, Olivia The Witch of Wonderlust, Bex The Witches cookery, ALL of whom are ladies I have grown to respect an knw as much as the YT allows 💜👑👑💜 I have learned so much in the past few yrs watching all of U AMAZING ladies, along with a few others all while forever listening too Stevie cuz music above ÀLL helps Me deal. I have hit SUCH a ALL time low lately and IDK how to dig myself outta THIS ONE... I identify so much with the Green Witch way's, I have a garden that is usually my happy place BUT lately I've been so low I'm afraid of going in my garden cuz I knw my plants feel my tention or more less depression and I DNT want my garden to suffer frm it.... So I honestly don't know how to move past this an help myself feel better, I feel everything around me as far as emotions and my clarity has NEVER been so clear!! It JUST feels like when my Mom passed away almost 3 yrs ago, it was like she left something behind and I found it, if my clarity wld have always been THIS way.... Lol I SURE as hell WLDNT of made a few LIFE choice's that I HAVE lol... I spent so much time away frm ppl during the time I was taking care of my Mom that I just don't fit where I used to..... Is there anything I am missing that cld possibly HELP me magically deal with the Mundane?? Lol I VERY WELL know there is not a spell to make it all better... I've looked 😂😂 but I'm open to anything... I just feel so numb at time's and completely overwhelmed other time's.... I identify the BEST with the Green Witch way's, I've not only had a green thumb my whole life but a green HAND at time's lol myself and my bestie Payton my therapy fur baby/bestie that I've had the honor of having in my life for 8 yrs so far 💜👑💜 lol his company truly CAN BE BETTER then MOST humans. I hope this makes sense as I am TRYING NOT to write a novel here. I just feel stuck I guess, I dnt have another way to put it in word's... Any ideas or word's of wisdom?? Thanks for Ur time Annie so much love frm Florida 💜🌴🌴💜

Sending you healing energy! 🤗💚 Also, just wanted to send a nudge not to be afraid to go to your garden! Remember, just like physical poop becomes rich manure, all our psychic and emotional gunk is food that the plants can take and turn into something positive and life-giving. No need to be afraid, just set that energy down, give it to the plants as an offering and thank them for their transformative power.

I've been practicing for a long time but it had been mostly surface level for years, small charms and little things just to help move things along in my life. Since 2020 I've really dived harder into witchcraft (and Heathenry) as more of a life mindset, and its helped me reinvigorate my life. I turned 30 last November, and have taken up hiking, am eating better, my garden is gorgeous. I feel like I've awoken from a dream where life just sort of passed me by into something better. Your videos have been a part of that, along with other witches on KZbin. But also finding a strong Heathen community online that is so so welcoming to people like me (LGBT mostly).

If you don't mind sharing, what is your heritage/culture? Hi Annie! All the things you mentioned in the video are actually some of the main reasons I started practicing, especially after leaving Christianity behind for a few years. No regrets on that decision, but it did leave me feeling spiritually restless, and it wasn't long before I recalled all the times I was pulled towards the Craft (since childhood, but I repressed it hard back then). The points you talk about learning are 100% true! It's actually quite overwhelming haha, but through the craft I've learned so much and it's helped me reconnect with my heritage a little more by encouraging me to research our cultural folklore, and has been a point of self reflection regarding my own self identity as a mixed culture person. Another thing the craft has done for me is heal my relationship with reading. I use to love reading, up until studying literature for over a decade ruined my ability to enjoy books. Part of me getting back into reading has been because of reading occult/witchy books for research. Overall my mental health and general sense of stability has been really helped by my practice, and it's great hearing that it does the same for you and other witches :)

This is one of my very favorite plants and one of my first and primary herbal allies! It's not very well known in western herbalism, so I'm always excited to see someone mention it. Yes, it would be perfect in a healing salve. Gerard says, 'There is not a better Wound herbe' and 'The decoction of Prunell made with wine and water doth join together and make whole and sound all wounds, both inward and outward…' It's a very powerful little herb with many hidden secrets to it! My favorite of its folk names is heart-of-the-earth. 💜💚

Sometimes it's easier to ask which herb wants to work with you. Is there one growing around you that has been catching your eye? One that you keep seeing mentioned in your readings or even unrelated places? Often we can begin to discern who wants to work with us by paying attention to these kinds of coincidences.

Hello! I am searching for your video where you chat about how you were going through a little burn out and you were making some perfume with buddleia? I can't find the video now though and would love to make that perfume with my daughter. . could you point me in the right direction? Thank you!

I know a number of people who have found it necessary to pay for classes & seminars on mindfulness, meditation, and incorporating spirituality into their daily lives. Oddly enough, I've never met a witch who needed to do that. :-)

Most intention is if the source of orgin gives it a foundation than the demmison of your creation will achieve the best outcome its also called thought creation??

That is where you start a thought mostly of desire that you don't have words for

Hi little witch sorry I've not talked to you in while and also to clarify the past think of the universe as a creation of birth and we are like blood cells we are born at 3 5 million a minute and the one's that we see as dying goes to the 90% of the brain we do use in for example if we both wanted to get to the top of our house in our language we would probably say the best way is to use a latter now keeping that in mind I say demmison like we would say latter and in the other demmison we are truly good friends I'm even married in a sort of way to Olivia the Wonderlust witch on this demmison reminds me so much of her before she got smart and ruined everything na just joking they allow females to do the thinking and their existence is in the hands of thier choices and men sleep like a baby in a mother's arm.
