Britt Ekland was one of the most legendary frosty blondes of the 1970s. She had it all; the looks, the talent, and the charm. She was once destined for super-stardom-but love derailed her journey every step of the way.

Sellers was an evil Svengali type . Never liked him . A control freak . Britt made some very bad choices in her life when it came to men . She undoubtedly was talented .

@@SPHau More like Jerry Lewis, Seller's American counterpart. Jerry's comedic talents rivaled that of Sellers with movies such as The Nutty Professor, but unlike Sellers, Jerry had dramatic roles such as The King of Comedy. Jerry treated his sons horribly, especially his musician son Gary Lewis. He was jealous of Gary when Gary hit it big in the mid-60s with his band The Playboys, who had a string of hits such as This Diamond Ring, Everyone Loves a Clown, (She's) Just My Style, Green, Green Grass, Count Me In, and others. Jerry also cut his sons from his will and left everything to his second wife and daughter. His partnership with Dean Martin was marred by jealousy over Dean being the most likable of the duo.

How many beautiful women are treated badly by the men they become involved with? My own mother was a stunner and my father was possessive while not treating her like the amazing, clever, loving and hardworking woman she is. She left him after twelve years and wasn’t lucky in love until later in life. I don’t take after her in looks and I never went out with any guy that chased me. I asked out my men and have been very successful and happy. I’m in my mid 60’s now and was envious of beauty until I began to see it as the burden it is!

Swedish women in the late 19th century were sometimes taken advantage of. My ex's grandmother emigrated to the USA to join older brothers already in the US. She was in Stockholm and left tiring of men wanting her to be their mistress. Crazy times. She worked as a housekeeper then. Was from the countryside.
