Agree it's underrated. Unfortunately the market for western horror VN's isn't that big but this game remains one of my favorites!

Some people recommended me to try Fata Morgana after this. I’ve looked into it a little bit and it definitely looks interesting. Other than that, there’s Saint Maker which is from the same dev as The Letter. Very excited for these two games!

l'm just pissed that all my faves die in the true end, that's why l never bothered to get it

That is unfortunate. SPOILER ALERT for what I'm writing... - - - - - - - - - - - - My favorite was Luke and I was very satisfied with how he turned out in the true ending. I really liked Hannah & Marianne too. Definitely sad that they didn't make it but I'm glad The Letter has so much alternate endings that there's a good ending for both of them, and they even got an ending where they end up together. I couldn't give a shit about Ashton though, his character didn't appeal to me at all. Not sure how the rest of the community thinks about him though.

@@Kaganath Wait you can get Marianne and Hannah together?? l tried getting Zach and Ashton but that was clearly impossible lol

Yep, there was that one scene in Marianne’s arc where if you decided to explore the first floor instead of the ground floor, you’ll learn that Hannah used to have a girlfriend in college before she met Luke.

I love this game! Sure it has its flaws, but overall, it's a really good horror VN. And I get to enjoy making fun of the Ermengarde Mansion (which I would always pronounce as Ermergerd (exaggerated pronunciation of Oh My God) Mansion). My favorite mini-games are definitely from Zach's (because it reminds me of the maid from Hotel 626) and Ashton's segment (because it actually makes me panic).
