Agreed. I was fortunate enough to see The Libs at CBGBs before all hell broke loose with Pete's addiction. The band had such raw talent, and Carl and Pete harmonizing was just brilliant. I'll probably will have to fly out to the UK, or drive up to Toronto when they finally go on tour; I don't think they will tour the U.S.

I think there's still potential for Libertines to grow a lot more internationally because they keep working on it and they keep doing it with energy. The British are a proud people (or perhaps I should say peoples) and Brexit was just the tip of an iceberg. Pride makes the culture interesting abroad, especially if there are elements which some might find provoking. The concept doesn't need much changing in order to be continuously revitalised. On an international level it could almost help Libertines though if other British bands in their genre were to hit it large. That could really spawn subcultural interest in Europe on a market-making level.

After a few listens I am a bit upset that Gary and John's contributions on bass and drums are somewhat obscured by Pete and Carl. They are bro brilliant musicians and the back bone of the Libs. Gary's drumming is second to none and John is an ace bass player.

I went to the gig in the 3 Arena in Dublin on Thursday gone (9th July). It's fair to say The Libertines were on top top form, best I've seen them. The new tunes are cracking, I have this one on repeat all day. Cannot wait until the new album, people should get behind it though and start requesting it / sharing it etc so more people actually get to enjoy it too! Keep it up lads!

This song is f$)%ing genius. One of the qualities of the Libertines is how they sneak Jamaican rhythms into their music but immediately destabilize it with punk. No one would call them Jamaican but is there like a secret spice.
