That hole in the ground with jumper wires - this was where the Librarian took the teleporter platform for his lab from! At least he had the decency to hook the conduits back together afterwards.

I didn't play the game, or read the booklet. Just a guess. The map had a teleporter listed there - but it wasn't actually there. There was a hole and a patched together connection though - same as the ones in the lab. Which had an out-of-place teleporter in it.

I thought that meant he was the one who developed and built the teleporter technology, and the hole in the ground was one he hadn't finished building or fixing yet

@@octochan Spoiler Warning!! On translating a relevant portion of the manual it says that pad was stolen from somewhere. We already know that Ths Librarian stole the Green "Key" too. He does this to learn more about the world.

I love the little continuity details in this game. The offerings near the fox-god, the missing teleporter-hole with the jumper cables that is apparently the one the Librarian took.

Good job with The Librarian! And yes, the hookshot opens up a bunch of previously unaccessible chests and other stuff. :D Tip: You can switch what you're locked on to with the right stick. Didn't use it much in combat, but fairly often for hookshot spots.

With the new "table of contents" page you got, I think you got the right idea but it's the other way around. Some pages titles written in english in the index correspond to pages with a title written in the unknown language. Didn't fully try to decipher it yet but that's a good base, and the manual is probably the main way to do it. ps: you missed a couple places in the central area (you see the entrances on screen) but also found some I missed lol and that hidden path where you had to use an explosive to open it, damn.. that one drove me crazy, thanks for solving it! :D

So close can seem so far... I wonder if the freeze spell could have interrupted that purple lightning bolt the librarian produces as he teleports in. (He either flies/charges in or teleports.) That mana dropped by the little guys disappears quite fast.
