If your eBook is exclusive with Amazon you cannot promote your eBook into the library market. Your paperback is never exclusive with Amazon, so you can still promote and sell your paperback (or hardcover) to libraries.

Excellent presentation and information! One question: why do you say Draft2Digital for Overdrive when IngramSpark also distributes to Overdrive?

I prefer to distribute my eBooks through Draft2Digital rather than Ingram Spark, but you can use either option. Anticipating that you might ask why I prefer Draft2Digital, I like the dashboard better and think setting up price promotions and changing metadata is easier on Draft2Digital than IngramSpark.
