I find it interesting that we are asked to leave respectful comments in regards to people who commited such atrocities against Africans. So, we can't call the colonizers what they really were?

That disclaimer is for those who like insulting our kind. If you are insulting their kind, I will approve it. No, I do not play fair. If the world was fair to begin with, we wouldn’t be in our current predicament as black people.

Can you imagine those evil went and enslaved those people on their own land. The land they called home. South Africans must never forget this atrocities that were done to them. After their evil, they want to have rainbow nation. What nonsense.

Are you death, the slaves where drought to south africa. The native population was not enslaved. Except maby by the zulu, who ran every othertribe from their land. As usual you just want to blame the white man. Pathetic!!!

Yes, what nonsense! Jesus did not negotiate with Satan; black South Africans should never negotiate with their European invaders and oppressors.

They were never enslaved. Please do your research Jan van Riebeeck first attempt to buy slaves ended with two slaves coming to Cape-town as one of the ships never came back and the other ship only managed to bring two slaves. He then attempted to send his only ship to buy slaves and this one also vanished never to be heard of. The king of the Netherlands then built two ships which bought 100 slaves to the Cape in 1658. People were never enslaved. Slaves were bought from Madagascar, India, Indonesia. Please do your research information is so easy to find on Google.

Also the Khoi and San people were first people in South Africa. On 26 April 1664 a Khoikhoi women married a Danish surgeon by the name of Peter Havgard, whom the Dutch called Pieter van Meerhof. She was thereafter known as Eva van Meerhof (See Geni/MyHeritage). She was the first Khoikoi to marry according to Christian customs.

The mighty Cuban military intervention in Angola leading to the defeat of the South African apartheid military decisively facilitated the end of apartheid & Mandela’s release. Fidel Castro Ruiz stated the Cuban military intervention in Angola was the payment of a debt for Spanish/Cuban slavery. Long live Fidel Castro.

Castro, one of the greatest human beings in the 20th century said Cuba is an Afro-Cuban nation. The Cubans dived head first in the anti colonial wars in Africa with military & medical support. Internationalism at its best.

Wonderful work. It's unfortunately apparent that many in South Africa view themselves as different and apart from other (southern) African nations. Both in times long ago, where common ancestry exists; and within living memory, where camaraderie exists, the continent's history is a singular story. Understandong this, our people shouldn't have to look far for a sense of belonging, support and identity. It is a pernicious idea that our immediate neighbors are unwanted. They (rather, 'we') are our salvation.

I'm curious as I've read that there was never a shaka zulu.. there was a shaka emperor of the zulus.. supposedly the Europeans took off the "Emperor" from his title being disrespectful..and shaka himself never fought but it was his general that everyone was afraid of...and it was because of his general being such a bad ass, the European created the gatlin gun to take care of him because he was like wolverine from Xman..
@HistoriaAfricana4 ай бұрын
There was a king called Shaka. Zulu was just a silly name the British gave him. His real name Shaka KaSenzangakhona. A simple name to mention. Europeans can readily say Huckleberry Finn, but not kaSenzangakhona. SMH 🤦

SA is rightly the land of the Khoi and San . These two tribes are together recognised as the FIRST NATION under the rights of indigenous people. The Khoi -San descendants have all been reclassified as coloured since the apartheid race classification laws of the 1950s . Only 1% of Khoi-San people still practice old cultural traditions and languages . The bantu tribes from central Africa essentially invaded Southern Africa , similar to the later European settlers .
@curtis-dj5bp2 ай бұрын
The bantu married with and fought together with the khoisan against the european settlers. How come you left that out? The bantu are from Africa, so too are the Khoisan. The europeans are not. They belong in europe. They were not similar to the european invaders. ( funny you call the bantu invaders, but the european settlers no?)

@@HistoriaAfricana to the end that we may forget our past and identity,you see shaka zulu did not come from a ''small zulu tribe'' he is the founder of the zulu nation i.e before him there was no zulu but bantu and Nguni(ngoni) which are two different groups of which he stems from the latter i.e nguni...in reality there is no bantu-nguni,just like there is no khoi-san,by the way khoi khoi is an inveted identity it doesnt exist,most of the things you say is the narrative of the white man
