Absolutely wonderful video. The artists from this era need to be remembered, they were the foundations of what was then the new rock music movement, they were the originals! I’ve only ever seen him in films, it’s lovely seeing photos of him in his own life. Thank you so much again my friend ❤️🤗

Adam lived near me in Henfield Sussex, he had a white Lotus and a BSA Bantam motorcycle which he would ride the 200 hundred yards to the village shop to buy his ten NO 6 ciggies. Me and my friend once loudly sang his hit 'What do you want if you dont want money' outside his house and he shouted from the window at us to B****r off. He saw Leo Sayer (at the time Jerry Sayer) in Steyning village hall just down the road doing backing vocals with a local pub band and promptly signed him up . I liked him in his series Budgie on the TV .

In 1998 I'd taken my daughter for a holiday to Disneyland Paris on the coach. On the way back home we hit roadworks almost as soon as we got off the ferry. The traffic hadn't moved for ages so the driver said that if anyone wanted a smoke he would open the window on the coach's door and they could go up one by one and lean out the window and smoke a cigarette. The first guy got up and spent so long leaning out that the other smokers started to complain. He apologised and said that the reason he was taking so long was because he was chatting to Adam Faith who was driving an open-top sports car in the lane next to us. Just then the traffic started to move and he drove away waving at us (and we all waving back at him) as he went.

I was quite surprised to see this. I was a fan of Adam Faith, have all his albums, and his singles. Made audio recordings (no VCR in those days) of his BBC TV series. When to see him at a BBC radio recording, his American Ford Galaxy was outside. His early singles, with John Barry's string arrangements copied from Norman Petty's Buddy Holly arrangements, were great. As an actor on the big screen he was not very good, but in Budgie he was good.

Thanks for this, whatever, he was very much appreciated by so many fans and did very well, the photographs shown here with Adam and so many legends of music is history itself. The financial thing seemingly was not so great but he will never be forgotten as a great singer and a good actor! RIP Adam.

Adam sadly passed in the 2000s in a hotel in Stoke-on-Trent, where our company had done work as contractors around a decade previously. He's currently being shown on episodes of Budgie on Talk Pictures TV, a Freeview channel, on Saturday nights.

Ah...loved Adam. He wasn't much of a singer and actor but he always gave his best. A superb backing band with The Roulettes including Russ Ballard. I saw him in "City Sugar" in the West End, an early Steven Poliafoff drama and Chorus Line in Southend. where he took the Michael Douglas part of the narrator. I also met him once going up in the lift at Garrard House where he was a consultant at Killik Haley, a City firm and I worked one floor down for a rival. A lovely man and if nothing else he lived his life to the full.

He had the car accident not long after he'd finished recording the second and final series of Budgie in 1972. By then, he only be approaching his mid 30s, as he was born around 1940.

Again Adam Faith is a name I know but know little about We all went to the cinema to see Stardust 50 bloody years ago (where does the time go) and I remember his performance being extraordinary . We just thought of him as a teen popstar so it came as a big surprise . His work with Leo Sayer and Roger Daltrey was well documented at the time and gave him some much needed "credibility" After that I didn't take much notice but needless to say , he died before his time - maybe his rampant sex life caught up with him!!! I'm sure there's a moral in there somewhere..... As always , your attention to detail is much appreciated Existentially yours......
