The life of the first settlers in Saint-Pierre de La Réunion

In Saint-Pierre de La Réunion, ahead of the construction of the town's new administrative center, an Inrap team has uncovered a succession of human occupations dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The discovery of the foundations of a windmill and a defensive battery testifies to economic and military activity in the days of the first settlers.
