I want my SUV of the year to have at least 6 cylinders. I like 6 cylinders. My 2008 Acura MDX and our 2003 Ford Ranger has a V6 and they are fantastic motors for power and reliability. I wish car companies would listen to me.

so, there's a bit of a misconception there, the model spec in specific they mentioned may be 65k, but as far as if it were optioned out fully factory, it'd be 51k, which is a lot more "decently affordable", the hybrid being i think an extra few grand making it at least 54k and they also said the 65k one is Decently affordable because it's almost 15k cheaper than the 80k black label, yet it gives you a lot of what that has, which is stupidly expensive.

@@jockboy because most every manufacturers are doing hybrids. Everybody wants to get in on it because it’s the “thing” to drive. Granted, people will tell you that they want one because it saves on fuel but buying a hybrid is the most expensive way to save on fuel. You pay a premium for them over regular non-hybrid models but I don’t believe the fuel savings will make up that difference. And besides, hybrids will become ubiquitous and people will buy them and enjoy them but the “flavor” will just fade away at some point.
