Why did they intentionally not include testicles on his model? They're plainly visible on an adult lion, are we now such a puritanical society that we have to censor a wild animals ballsack? Why does this get such praise? You can tell in many places in the movie it looks rushed and cheap. The anim is just weird, Disneys whole problem with this movie (this clearly being a promo to get more sales from such a lackluster performance at the box office) is it doesnt know what it wants to be. Realistic looking animals with human like facials (and in many cases, come off as missing facial cues) doesnt work. So many of their previous attempts at this were the same. And on top of that, they for some reason keep doing the "realistic" remakes of beloved cartoon movies, which then denigrates the original itself - thats disappointing. Looks at what like remakes of The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and others ended up doing to the cartoon franchise. Disney, stop disrespecting your heritage and what made you what you are today, respect it and the movie goers that also love it, and treat your history and deep catalogue of great entertainment with more respect. This has happened in so many franchises Disney own (the disrespect of the original IP) and this is why it looks like DIsney is self-imploding, and honestly, I think we will be better off without them. The last 20 years have shown how little real understanding of their own content they have, and how little respect they have for it. Its funny too.. BBC News.. still looking for anything that will fund their wasteful mess of a media arm... from CCP shils.. to Disney spammers.. you really are doing it all BBC. Maybe Disney will buy you like they bought Dr Who and killed that in a single season. Well done too. You see how this relationship works here.

I have not seen this film but from previews it looks pretty awful and cheap. And the story is just garbage about a lion ripping off another lion.
