Patriarchal Norms, are actually a good thing. Oppression, is not good. Just because in some instances, the two come together, doesn't mean Patriarchal Norms are bad. It's literally no different than any other instance where two things are tied together when it's going wrong. Are cars a bad thing? No? Well, when combined with a drunk, it often ends in the death of innocent people. But we don't turn around and blame cars. When people do that, they have an agenda. You should always be suspicious of those people, and at least investigate their agenda. Like it or not, men evolved for combat, and hunting. Women evolved to care for children. Men and women are NOT the same. And like it or not, men evolved to lead, but leading does not mean doing it alone. A smart men takes counsel from smart women, before making decisions. Take counsel, not marching orders, just to be clear.

"Tron" (1982): Portrayed Ed Dillinger/Master Control Program. "My Best Friend Is A Vampire" (1987): Played Professor Leopold McCarthy, the vampire hunter. Also appearing in this cult-movie classic was Rene Auberjonois of "Star Trek DS9" (Constable Odo) and "Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country" (Colonel West).
