Iv always said this, People who “act” a certain way that is contrary to their actual personality or beliefs end up suffering the most, If a man acts indestructible it’s usually because he’s been mistreated, If a man’s acts like he’s got complete control over he’s life it’s usually because others depend on him. If a man acts tough it’s typically due to a self esteem complex. Niel seems like a proper nice guy who once acted he’s way through these circumstances and ended up suffering in silence. Iv been exactly where he’s been mentally and emotionally and was to scared to pull the trigger on a gun I had to my head. Men often feel alone and scared but are to “tough” to show it. Once our EGO is put into its place then we realise the difference between tough and acting tough. I once’s believed I could derail a train 😂 but that was my ego, now I know the smart thing to do I step out of the way of the train and allow it to steam on its path. Somethings are just simply to big to waste time on, and somethings are simply to small to waste time on. Niel I wish you all the best for the future mate.

I'm from Glasgow but I lived on Darlinghurst Road directly across from the Coke-Cola sign in 2007-2009. This guy is quite fearless or controls it very very well because they guys down there (and at Darling Harbour / Star City casino) were absolutely MASSIVE. Remember hearing a fair few gunshots going off and quite a few times the street would be cordoned off later on. Bikey gangs ruled the roost and im sure still do, but even after that factor you had the "average joe's" rugby players /samoans... sonny bill williams entourages. For a 5 foot 8 wedgie I was comedy value at best and was happy with that .. knew my place!. A lot of meth, an awful lot of meth going around in the Cross and Oxford Street areas back then (didn't partake, just drank and observed in those places).. capable, big and dangerous characters. Great place and times though!.

I'm from Newcastle (UK), and worked the doors at the Kings Cross Hotel / Buddahs Bar opposite the Coca Cola signs. I used to live in Potts Point, a short walk down the street. Darlinghurst was mental. I worked for RSM Security (also put me at the Bondi Hotel midweek) and the Bikies and Lebanese ran a lot of the sh*t around both areas. For me though, the possed up Brit backpackers were the bain of my life when working ha. . . I have to admit, Potts Point at the time (mid-late 2001) was fully of Aborigine drunks, and lots of smack heads with needles all over the place... I heard it's been gentrified around both parts now?

I used to live and work in Sydney in the early 2000's. It really struck me how professional and trained the security (bouncers) were. Also, The Aussies were years ahead of the game as regards responsible service of alcohol. Once a customer got a bit "oiled up", the bar would politely tell him/her this was their final drink. The customers would happily accept that. Meanwhile, back home in Birmingham the bouncers were still behaving like aggressive thugs, people were getting wasted beyond belief, and The Emergency Units in hospital were rammed from alcohol fuelled injuries! To be fair, its much better here now.

Yes true! Jock Ross. In truth he was only a pretend hard case and rule keeper. Who was busted by the gang for doing the wrong thing. Messing about with another members woman. This would lead to his undoing. No where near as dangerous and vicious as the modern day Comanchero hierarchy. He was also responsible for instigating the Milperra massacre. When the Comancheros and the Bandidos bikie gangs clashed using firearms, and caused deaths from both sides in the carpark. And there was the shooting killing of an innocent young teenage girl who was attending the swap meet in the pub carpark on the day. He survived being shot twice. Once in the head. He was later pushed aside and shunned, losing his Presidents title and position.
