St Lucia Rastas are very resourceful and the lifestyle in the hills looks very attractive after seeing this video. It reminds me of a popular Psalm in the Bible. I wish more families would live this way. My way of up bringing was similar. I was raised in the country with my grand mother and my uncle practice this way of life and I enjoy it. It was one of the best time I had growing up. I was worry free I live off the land. Our family was great I use my imagination when I play. I did not have toys I was able to get books from a book mobile. It was just pure fun. When we don't have certain things we do without it. I truly miss that life. and yes I drink the tea. Loved this. This family is inspiration to leave Babylon, which I fully intend on doing. I found the last part particularly powerful when he was interviewing the Children. The son, had really astute observations for what the interviewed tried to explain he was 'missing out on' not dating. Similarly, his two daughters interviewed are very intelligent and have a vision for their futures. Will certainly watch again

Not necessarily limited at all. I had a number of teachers and spent many years in state school and I was failed miserably! My own child learned to fear education from her experience in state school. We now home school. Quality over quantity.

Some people can be like this and live with Nature, and the others can be on the other side and live the western lifestyle, or both can take a leaf from each other's book, or you can live in nature go to the city life get tired and go back to nature, or do it the other way come from the city live in nature and then go back to city living......you see there must be a balance of both worlds, but remember if the world resets for any reason eg (Mother Nature gets angry ie earthquake, volcano, tsunami, plague etc) everything will go back to how they are living now, back to basics back to nature. Everyone when they get fed up of the western life, always feel relief when they connect back to nature ......... And This is good that they live without drugs and alcohol because if these things enter the society it will get corrupted and all how they live now will be vain ...I know some people that live/lived this way with nature, the aboriginals from Australia and alcohol and other "drugs" were introduced and its like living in hell now .......by the way, africa is very corrupted in certain areas...... so don't believe it's all good there, actually living in st Lucia may be better than living in certain parts of Africa!
