Nothing I don't like about the way you produce your videos. Appreciate the experiments between the different wheels and your thoughts on each. They look like two very different boards to me, definitely a place in the quiver fro both. Stay Rad Sir (Awesome last clips)

Thanks for the wheelbite info-you helped me realize that I put my Paris Truck hangers on backwards (flipped) 🤦♂, which reduced the baseplate angle, causing a reduced ride/axle height of 5mm. That had been going on for months 🤦♂

thanks man! the roll speed with the in heats is super fun. The other thing I forgot to mention is that I noticed a difference in maneuverability compared to the love handles since the In Heats have a larger contact patch

Love that camera angle on the manual. Also thanks for putting out the info on the riders. That and the changing of the bushings on trucks. Getting those dialed in is hard. Thanks for this super detailed and well done comparison/review.

The extra juice you are referring to is probably the extra high rebound that the otang bushings have.

great review/comparison, very informative. I have both. I think I like chinchiller (running with Paris 150,50+3degree in front and 43 degree in the back with 4presidents) more but poke is great board too.

It is a great longboard for commuting over wet and rough roads. It shields from splashes and allows 75mm wheels. I use stiffer bushings to avoid wheelbite.

Nice! How long have you commuted on it? Like a few miles? Or longer? Thanks for sharing your perspective

Top shelf review mate. As always. What do you think about Chinchiller vs Fathom Caguama. Yes, i know they are different breed. Traveling kilometers calmly, even on poor surfaces. No tricks. Broadly understood stability is very important to me. Can I ask for help in choosing a model? I probably won't buy it until I see your review of Fathom. Can't wait.
@concrete-waves7 ай бұрын
Thanks :) This is a tricky one to answer. But I would probably guess that the fathom would make more sense for going kilometers - the caguamas on poor surfaces will be better than the love handles

How did you do the shot from 1:50 to 2:00, where you transitioned from panning the camera as the board passed by to it following you as you hopped on the board? I can't figure out what you did there but it looked really cool, nicely done

Realistically, how far would you cruise one of these on a nice day? Decent pavement. No crazy steep hills. Just mellow inclines and flat areas. Without trying to break records. Do you think someone like yourself would enjoy just a 5-10 mile cruise? 20-30?
@concrete-waves9 ай бұрын
I don't think I'd take this for longer distances. While, sure I think it's doable, I'd prefer a dropdown...something lower to the ground with 80mm+ wheels for higher roll speed

Have you tried using CX trucks with this board? If so, how does it compare to the Poke w CX?
@concrete-waves8 ай бұрын
Ahh I haven’t tried that yet but I’d imagine the CX would be really fun with the chinchillers flexiness
@ShaiUI18 сағат бұрын
I don't have the poke. But I tried the chinchiller with both the Carver CX and C5 trucks. Pumping is really nice on top-mounted flexy decks like this. The CX while it works good, I found to be a little bit too bulky and wheels stick out of sides too much. So I prefer the C5's on this setup as the deck is pretty small and light. I did need to use 0.5inch risers for 70mm wheels on C5 though as the wheel wells on this deck don't align with carvers. CX don't need risers as the truck itself is big enough to hold 70mm.

On the Chin, flip the Love Handles or Stimuluses and they should feel better to ride. More responsive and also slides more crisp. Also, you should consider wearing a helmet for your content.
