Another wonderful, informative video. My friend and I were to going to take a trip to Loch Ness on my birthday last year, but she changed her mind and I ended up staying at home. I've just shared this video with her, hoping it will make her change her mind about visiting with me. I don't think she realises just how wonderful a place it is to visit.

Great start to 2024. Your vlogs get better and better. High points for me in this video are 1). Being related to Hamish MacInnes - he is a Scottish legend; Drumnadrochit (although i was also impressed by King gussie) 😁; talking Italian to a Scottish cat? ; and 3.35 minutes in, a little 5 second video of someone walking out of a portrait?? Thank you for this. Oh - excuse me - i forgot to mention the excellent sound track - I'm sorry. All the best for 2024.

Thanks for the memories. I just remember thinking the loch was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Regret we didn’t make it into the museum but I don’t think it was that developed … Great quality time with your grand mother. All the best

Hi Camy, another entertaining and well edited video. I believe the ruins glimpsed briefly in your video are of Ruthven Barracks, built in the early eighteenth century to help control the highlands after the first Jacobite uprising. keep enjoying your travels! Regards....

Hello John, thanks very much for your comment, I’m glad you enjoyed this video, too! I searched the location of Ruthven Barracks on Maps and I see it’s on the road from Aviemore to Pitlochry so that must be it. Very interesting. Thanks for letting us know!
