William Conrad voice as the Lone Ranger even on the Lone Ranger radio show. 1947-1961

No, he wasn't. Earle Graser voiced The Lone Ranger and Brace Beemer was his announcer. Graser was killed while riding in a taxi and Brace Beemer took over the role and Fred Foy was the show's announcer. William Conrad played radio 's Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke.
