Hello Robert, we have 2-3 feet of snow and about -4 Fahrenheit lately. Your videos brings me back on my road trips to US. Its not just about what you show or where you go, its about the way you talk, your voice, the music, the camera cut, no one does it the way you do and thats the reason I really enjoy each video from you. Manny greetings from Czech republic.

Hi Robert, hope everything is going great for you. I thought while watching your cooking scene that it would be nice if you had a Recipe cookbook to sell in your store. You could call the Cookbook Secrete recipes from Traveling Robert. The name is not as important as the food looks very good. You make it look so very easy to do. Yes, it was very smokey in parts of the video. Thank you for sharing my friend

Wow. Just missed you Robert! I was in Ely on Aug 17, 2020. Stopped in to see the Northern Nevada Railroad Museum - it made up for the boring drive on 93. The place was great. It had old engines, an entire railyard and a working steam engine. Took multitudes of photos.

This video was delightful, I paused for a moment trying to come up with a description that best described how I felt, and that was it, delightful. I always enjoy the open road, and it was nice not bring in any hurry to get anywhere. Great cooking segment, during it I said to myself “I wonder if he turned off the smoke alarm” and then there was the alarm…. The solar ruins were the icing on the cake. Loved it.

Hi Robert: We were in southern Idaho (Treasure Valley area) for almost a week, during the time you were there, late August. The smoke from the wildfires was absolutely horrendous. I think the worst was trying to drive there via Reno and Winnemucca, Nevada. Could barely see the lanes on the freeway. Not good for someone with COPD! We never saw a clear day while we were visiting Idaho...stunningly beautiful, nonetheless. Thank you for another wonderful trip around the country! 🌵🌲🌴🏜😍

Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸, I really liked the cooking show. When I saw that you placed the tortilla wrap directly on the burner, I was like what are you doing Robert😊😊😊, but it came out great. I have drivin through the Great Basin & Range region years ago from Rhode Island( you have been there Robert ) to San Francisco. The I-80 section through Nevada was very interesting, Desert valleys and mountain ranges all the way through Nevada. Us 93 from Twin Falls to Ely was very remote with gas station very sparsely located, over 100 miles to the next station. Ely looks like a old wild western town and the Utah version seems as remote as Nevada. I will soon be visiting National Parks that I haven't seen yet. Robert, Im coming to Miami and onto KEY WEST🎵🎵🎵, and visiting National Parks Biscayne, Everglades, and the Dry Tortugas! I will also be visiting Glacier and Big Bend this year. Can't wait to see lots of PELICANS and more PELICANS...Fly PELICANS😊😊😊! Looking forward to the next video footage of Utah. I have been to Utah several times and have visited all of the National Parks as well, and many state parks too. I will be very interested to see where the road takes you. Great video Robert👍👍👍.

Robert drives the loneliest road so we don't have to :-) Actually the basin and range scenery is quite beautiful, but the emptiness of it gets overwhelming after awhile. The smoke you in Nevada was about as bad as what I encountered in October--imagine driving through Monument Valley with visibility like that! The railroad museum in Ely is really cool, too bad you didn't have time for a visit. Happy trails!

We actually drove from Utah to Reno on that hwy last June. We spent the night in Ely at the Hotel Nevada. It is actually a pretty historic hotel. Many famous movie stars and other people have stayed there. Next to us was the Mickey Rooney room. We then continued on to Reno where it took the rest of the day. That hwy deserves it's reputation. Glad I did it but not much to see. Only 2 or 3 more little towns from Ely to Reno. Got to give credit to people who live out there. They are more hearty than I am.

Interesting info about the pony express when stopping the video at 7:18. A horse could go at a full gallop for 8 to 12 miles and they turned over the mail to a new rider at each home station located 75 to 100 miles apart. If you think you're a million miles from nowhere now, imagine what this was like 150 years ago. That area is good practice for future astronauts exploring Mars.

Hello Robert, did you know that in Arizona we have the only pony express that still delivers mail for the USPS. Between the smoke and your pain in the neck this trip was almost a waste. But, the smoke finally cleared and the views were very nice without going up into wild mountain range off in distance. So really nice little towns you went through. I have a tip for you the next time you sleep wrong and get that pain in the neck. Sit up straight, head up looking forward. Slowly roll your shoulders back as far as you can. Then try rolling your shoulders downward as far as you can. Hold for a few seconds. Don't hurt yourself. Repeat it a few times with rest time in between. Wouldn't hurt to take an advil too. It works surprisingly quick. The guy who came up with the solar energy plan should have tried to harness the energy of the wind. The wind seemed to be were all the energy was. lol

Hey Robert - I've started looking at RV's and I toured a Micro Minnie Winnie the other day. I was surprised that the cabinets don't have any latches. It looked to me like a lot of stuff would fall out of them while pulling the RV down the highway. Do you have problems with that? Or did you install some type of system to keep them from opening? Thanks.
