I agree Fran, Crawford is supremely skilled and I think his ability to negate having an inside fight with his footwork and excellent clinch game will allow him to pick spence apart from the outside and with counters. Furthermore, Crawford is deceptively strong and has supreme balance from a wrestling background so I think he can weather some of Spence's frame and pins up close. I have Crawford winning via late knockout. Great breakdown.

I saw in a few instances in the Kell Brook fight where Kell used lateral movement and angles and had success against Spence and in one instance Spence was so disrupted by Kells movement he lost his balance and fell forward completely exposed to a huge counter that Kell simply did not take advantage of. I think Crawford does this well and is going to give Spence a lot of problems. Your videos and insight are great and ive learned a lot. Thanks for the great work.

When Porter, Brook, and others were asked after their fights with Crawford about how their training and weight, etc, was before the fight, they said all that was great. No excuses. When then asked about what happened during the fight, they said they needed to watch the video to see what happened. Being younger or fitter doesn't help with the problem of not knowing where the punches are coming from. Holmes had the same problem with Tyson. After the fight he was asked about how Tyson compared to all the greats from the 70's he had trained with. Holmes said the hardest punches are the ones you don't see coming. Being younger, fitter, sharper, doesn't solve the problem of not knowing where the punches are coming from. That said, Spence boils himself down to 147 and technically he is not the same as those other guys Crawford was able to switch and time. I don't see at the end of this one Spence saying he needs to watch the video to see what happened. Spence is like a master chef at cooking up meat and potatoes. Much of what Crawford has done to look good against other guys is not going to be there against Spence. Crawford is going to have his hands full, here. I agree with coach, here. Crawford is going to need to "Leonard" as many rounds as he can, especially the early rounds, and not get into a battle of attrition, and run the last few rounds. If it's a good fight and Crawford wins, there will be a rematch in the fall.

Terence Crawford comes over the top & hooks his jab at the end when fighting other Southpaws. Well-Spence just throws his jab straight. The major factor that's going to get Bud the victory is that Bud's hidden specialty is being able to punch in between his opponents punches. And the problem for Spence's he only throws one punch at a time in the same cadence. Recipe for Disaster. Bud by 10th rnd KO🤜💥🤕

I agree w/ much of what was stated in this vid. However, i thin TC is going to begi g this fight in the ortho stance. I rewatched the Postol fight & Benavidez fights to see how he approaches big opponents w/ good range. Vs Postol, he used movement to take away that 74.5 in jab. He also stayed southy in order to jab joust w/ Postol. It was tactical early until frustration set in & Postol began to commit & was out of position. Spence is much more defensive on the outside. I think Crawford will look to jab joust w/ him as well to neutralize that lead hand & be elusive until he forces Spence to take chances & touch him as his style suggests. Once he understands Spence...then we'll see the southy switch to become more offensive. I also think the weight & the layoff will affect Spence negatively. I see a wide points vickie. Unless Spence attempts to turn up the pressure...Then i see crawford punching in between his shots & hurting him. Possible stoppage. ...Obviously, one shot can change the complexion of a fight like the left hook to the body did in leonard vs Hearns. That could happen for either man as well.

As I read all of these comments, i have to say that most people are forgetting that its not just the past fighters that Spence and Crawford fough its also when they fought them. Obviously Crawford is a great fighter no doubt about it and he definitely passes the eye test however I can't help but to think about the opposition that Crawford fought. The only two big names on his resume are past there prime Kell Brook and Shawn Porter. Before Brook fought Crawford, he did not fight at welterweight for three years and did not look good in his fight and 154lb before he fought Crawford. When Crawford fought Porter, he was half way retired and admitted that he did train they he did for the Spence fight wich was three years earlier aswell. I just believe that Spence is more battle tested and has fought the superior competition in there prime and that will make a difference in this fight. Can't Wait

This guy lost me when he said Crawford is good defensively. NOPE. Crawford is NOT defensively responsible. Bud doesnt dominate a fight, he knocks people out not beats them up. You can show aspects when your resume looks like Crawfords. Its not WHO Crawford fought, its WHEN he fought them. Kenny Porter picks Spence, Bernard Hopkins picks Spence, because of Spences skills. The volume punching, the power, the accuracy, the body shots, the size, the defensive responsibilities he shows, the chin..Spence beat champions and took their belts, Crawford fought "opponents " basically beens or washed ups. I believe this is going to be a HUGE uptick in class for Crawford. Especially with Spence sparring the undisputed Jr middleweight champion in Charlo.

Spence looks a little slower and robotic, though his punches look harder. His fundamentals are solid, though. Crawford seems more fluid, quick and elusive. He seems trickier and we know he can punch, also. I see Spence stepping to Crawford behind the jab and methodically trying to break him down. However, I see Crawford boxing, feinting, countering and using his quickness to avoid a lot of punishment from Spence. If Crawford can avoid punishment for 12 rds and effectively counter, he will win. If Spence gets rolling and Crawford can't keep him off, it's going to be a long, difficult night for Crawford.

But Spence is tough durable and constant pressure. Crawford will need to put on a master class to beat spence. Stick and move a shit ton, maybe try and stun him early, because i dont see crawford wanting to trade and getting into a war with spence, thats not his game. I do believe Crawford will need to get spences attention and respect fast.
