Steam's Early Access can be hit or miss, what with the various dead projects and cash outs and the like, but TLD and Kerbal Space Program are the gold standard for the EA development model. I'm excited to explore these new regions. Also: I wish there were a fast travel option. I have abandoned many play throughs because the ceaseless walking just wears me down. Thanks, Hinterland team.

The last episode is coming next year, you should be grateful for the extreme big content they do for free all these years plus the story.

Учитывая её прошлые заслуги, я считаю назначение её главой по разработке the long dark вполне себе разумным решением. Причём, когда выйдет пятый эпизод известно. Он назначен на конец 2023 года. Возможен перенос, но оно так всегда. Короче, я не понимаю этого наезда. Профессионала с большим опытом назначили на руководящую должность - всё правильно.

Mother nature can do worse than zombies you know.. The emptiness, scarcity and darkness.. You need to constantly on the move, even though no zombies chasing you but in a way, mother nature does. The weather only gets colder and colder, and you got hungrier and hungrier. Not to mention the predator timberwolves and bears can hinders your travel also moose can incapacitate you for weeks ! For a second think about if you suddenly woke up alone in frozen wasteland of great bear, it's quite terrifying.

I didn't remember everything that will be in the new update, but I have suggestions: 1)Change the bear animation. In it, the most frightening thing, as for me so far, is only the roar and sounds. I would also like it to be a little faster in speed.. 2) Why are there so many rifles that differ only in shape, weight and a couple more characteristics. I don't remember anyone meeting the same revolver badly, so it would be possible to come up with another weapon that differs from a conventional rifle. For example, Double Barreled Shotgun, flintlock and much more. 3) A compass would be nice too. 4) More locations, like the Valley of the Quiet River, and so that they connect other locations and it makes sense to go to them (I don't see the point in the Valley of the Quiet River and never go). 5) On the island there is a flint and some kind of horseradish TWO types of matches and a magnifying glass, but there are no lighters -_- 6) I would like more crafts, there are really few of them. 7)I would like the cartridges, when you throw them out less than in a box (a gun has less than 5, a revolver has less than 10), they are displayed NOT IN a BOX, but just scattered single cartridges. 8) I haven't come up with it yet

8 years in the making and I am BEYOND overjoyed witnessing just how far this game as come, how far hinterland has come, and the utter dedication you all have to this game. It's probably my favorite game of all time for this reason. I actually helped fix a bug in the game about three years back having to do with wolf encounters, it's rare and so refreshing to get a dev team this dedicated! I was 12 in 2014, I'm 20 years old now, I've played this game many times throughout the years and it literally saved me from depressive episodes more than once. Thank you for being there with me while I was growing up. I can't wait to see how far the long dark comes once we hit the 10 year anniversary! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

I remember playing this game in the beta version somewhere in 2016(i think). Everytime when I go to Mystery Lake I get this flashbacks with that time ‘cause it was also winter and I was home,cozy and work from my stove,playing this amazing game.Hinterland did such an impressive job with this game❤

I'm a little late to the party but I was so overjoyed to see doe! I first got into this series back in 2017 at the launch of the winter mute campaign and It was always weird that there were male deer but no female deer. It's such a simple inclusion but I'm glad we have a matching pair of bucks and does now. Keep up the good work Hinterland!
