I wonder if it was just a case of Kingbling and Federico's styles being too different so the combination of the themes together didn't mesh in the best possible ways. I'm trying to think of how often there was a classic Federico "the low brain troll turned out to be the actual troll". Obviously that happened in the case of the Z with the Thwomp and letting the star run out. I'm probably missing some just because Carl might not've run into them. On the Kingbling side of things we got to see his style, obviously having a nightmode level troll and jank with items/power ups behaving weird. Having the hints after getting trolled seems classic kingbling (although I suppose Federico will do that as well). And of course we had the King bling anti.

I remember when Panga cheesed the part at 17:10 by getting out of the bottom shell, throwing the top shell up and using the bottom shell to get to the top, allowing him to have a shell for the rest of it. That may have been one of the things to fix.

@@adicsbtw Take all this with a grain of salt, I haven't taken bio in years. But from what I remember, the main thing limiting the speed of nerve signal transmission is the transition from one nerve to the next. The transmission along each nerve cell involves moving potassium and sodium in and out of the membrane, and is set up to be almost instant for the entire cell. However, you need a glial cell to wrap around the nerve cell as a kind of insulation to allow that to work as quickly as it does. So the only things limiting the length of a nerve cell are a) needing to change direction or branch, and b) needing more and more glial cells to control a greater area of potential interference. Only in a place like the spinal cord, a straightaway where the pathway is protected by bone, can some of the nerves grow to actual macroscopic lengths for maximum speed.

Started playing KingBling levels before I found this channel (sorry :( ) and anytime I see his name mentioned, I automatically think of his anti-softlocks, which just stunned me at the time as being wholly unique and just hilarious. His evolutions on the formula he invented still get me -- even if you know what's going to ultimately happen -- in this case it was the galoomba that did it for me (obscures what actually takes out the threat -- not as overt as the rest of the trolls but still pretty cute). Man, I really miss his trolls, but I'm glad he came back for a collab. As far as I know, he's mostly just doing Let's Plays these days, but despite the potentially fringe appeal of it all, I found him to be one of my favorite troll level creators from the first level of his I played.
