Today's show will look at a typical LRDG Patrol in North Africa - preparation, orders, vehicles, supplies, loading schemes, weapons, route planning etc
We will examine what it would be like to be on a patrol, the different duties of patrol members, driving techniques, meals, navigation and recording the 'going', the navigational checks and records, as well as recording the terrain and features for the survey unit. Plus maybe dropping off an agent or two and how an LRDG road watch functions. Identifying a suitable location, setting up a base camp, the Road watch routine, wireless routine.
