I _adore_ the intro section. You've perfectly captured the "1930's-1950's short film about This Common Thing In Your Life", right down to the comedy footage in the middle with the narrator making a pun!

Love the "3, 2, 1, HEAVE!" with the ropes. Y'know, I heard that sailors used to sing songs to make sure they were all hauling in time together. Now, what were they called? I think it rhymed with blea blanties.... You've probably never heard of them, though

I like to picture the bloopers segment of this video as just the day-to-day of just how bad the captain was doing. Like picturing the 5 or so takes of him opening the map as just the captain in the song failing at simple stuff. (I also loved the way the ship was destroyed pretty much just messing around with little directing for that part great!)
