I love that you show these monkeys as they are and not try to manipulate them like other channels. The other channels are cruel and enjoy making them suffer. They keep rescuing orphans, but make one of the teenage mother’s feed them and not leave milk for her baby, Rainbow. They push on older orphans on Libby to nurse while leaving her baby with no or little milk. That is so cruel. They keep her mother locked up so she has to roam alone and gets attacked(I feel the VOs set up these attacks). They never have video of the attacks or accidents, when they are always on top of them. What a lie. I really enjoy all of the videos you put out. Thank you. Those monkeys are precious.

Don't watch them, views support them. I doubt many of these monkeys are orphans. I think they are snatched from their Mums. They are disgusting channels. They harrass and overfeed the Mums, they purposely injure monkeys for views, they give kittens to them, they have tortured that poor pigtail monkey Soraya or whatever her name is. They pretend they want to integrate her in to the troop but then was letting the male monkey abuse her and rewarding him with food. I could be wrong but one video it look like he even sexually assaulted her as he pinned her to the ground and humped her....unless it was a dominance hump and non-sexual...not sure how common monkey on monkey sexual assault is. I think they might use food to create fights amongst the monkeys too. Just report them to facebook.

Those monkeys are not rescued they’re stolen from their mothers (sometimes they kill the mothers to get to their babies), and then after they get tired of the babies or the babies grow they throw them out into the Savanna group where they get more abused or killed for views. Those VO’s are very bad evil people and the people that send them money or publish their videos (KZbin) are also very bad evil people because they’re supporting animal abuse.

I agree with you as AM has showed us this is a big problem. Heartbreaking. I have with disgust and anger watched some of the videos made of the moneymaking sickening monkey torturers in other channels. I have tryed to report cruelty to the animals. The answer I get every time from you tube is that they can not find any cruelty or bad behavior against the animals and that they can help me not to look at these videos. Totaly incompetent because they also make money from this. The videos are so many.

I am so happy to see Teeny!! She's a beautiful young lady now. She will always be my favorite. She has always been so brave. I can't wait until the day she has her own baby. (I hope she doesn't steal food from her baby like Tina did her).

I noticed something on another video. I think Tina only feeds at night when the babies head can be propped up on a branch. She feed teeny for quite a while down near the road by propping Teeny's head on a log. Perhaps she hates having her nipples pulled like so many of the babies do.

I don't think Martha is Tina's mom. Monkeys stealing from their babies' pouches is not unheard of. Tina lactation issue and her obsessive stealing is abnormal. Leah from Skull Heads troop has been documented stealing from her babies' pouches. I haven't seen her this year stealing from Hugo though. Martha may steal from Bubbles pouches here and there but not obsessively as Tina. Bubbles wanted no part of it. Lol

@francie new there are actually three photojournalists here at Mokey Hill. Arroz, JW and Monkeys Inc. They all do more of a documentary style of monkey videos. They don't tease, bait the little ones, and low ranking to get confrontations and such. They do a watch and let the monkeys be monkeys. All three film the Golden Hill troops.

Except there is one that films macaques in Japan....I forgot the name of the channel. They are monkeys that can survive in the snow and bath in hot springs. Snow Monkey.....might be the name of the channel

The macaque monkeys are from Kam Shan Country Park in Hong Kong, also known as "Monkey Hill." Inside the park, there are jogging trails, barbecue and picnic areas. IT IS NOT A ZOO. The monkeys of Hong Kong are not native. They were introduced in the 1900's. The population of rhesus macaques eventually became out of control. There is NOT sufficient native food to feed all the troops that reside in the park. Hong Kong has implemented two things in order to manage these monkeys. 1. A sterilization program to control the increasing macaque population. 2. A registered feeders program in order to encourage troop to stay in the monkey hill park area and not invade the city and neighborhoods. The registered feeders feed the troops in an organized manner, respecting the hierarchy ranking, in order to minimize injuries to the troop members. Many of the feeders have named the monkeys and have watched generation after generation of these adorable monkeys. Human overpopulation and deforestation globally, has resulted in most animals being regulated similarly to the macaques in Hong Kong worldwide.

Martha and Tina are at the bottom in their troop. Tina is stuck in survival mode constantly and ruthless when it comes to food. Whether food is plenty or not she went after her off-spings pouches. Many times she could her foraged with the rest but instead stood back waiting for Teeny to raid her pouches. But Martha, this is the first time I seen her do that. I wish there were more studies on that behavior.

martha may be digging in bubbles pouches, which some moms do, but they usually stop when baby fights hard enough. unlike tina who will abuse her kids by pulling their heads back and biting their cheeks to get every crumb out their mouth and use them for food gathering. i also believe she drinks up all her own milk starving her baby. tina hides when she pouch raids her kids because she gets reprimanded when seen by other troop members. i have to say that for such a large troop, skullheads is well balanced.

OMG! Would everyone please stop comparing Martha to Tina? This is the first time I've ever noticed her doing anything like that. It may be something that all low-born mothers do from time to time. If anything, Martha can be a bit over-protective, but always very loving toward her babies.
