I would like to thank you guys for doing this! I’m pretty sure it was me that mentioned it to you. It’s such a cliched self yanking for Flatley. It’s only fitting the only “actor” that showed up was Eric Roberts. It’s time to acknowledge Roberts needs to be given a place in the pantheon of Good Bad Or Bad Bad.

That "20 year old laptop" is actually a Panasonic Toughbook. Those are the ones you see in damn near every single police car. I'm sure there's cheaper ones available, but new ones can go upwards of $4k depending on how they're spec'd.

The mansion at the start of the film is Michael’s real home. I believe he lives here in Ireland most of the time. Thanks for doing this one. I remember watching the first riverdance show during intermission on the Eurovision back in ‘95, it overshadowed the whole show, people were blown away.

C'mon guys, being the, "Best," is a necessity in a Vanity Project. They have to pull him out of retirement or hire him away from somebody else because of the special circumstances that only he can handle. He's irresistible to all Women. He's also an expert of something else that is somehow vital to the story. Dancer, Musician, Singer, Tennis Player, Swimmer, Card player, Wine aficionado, chef.

Blackbird is also the name of a traditional set dance in Irish dance lol the ego on this Chicago man (with an Irish accent) knows no bounds!!!!!!!! (Also both leads of the original Riverdance are American, but Jean Butler is normal.) Also!!!! Michael Flatley started a freestyle competition award at the (Irish dance) World Championships and the trophy is in the SHAPE OF HIM

All I know about Riverdance is that it inspired a scene in Final Fantasy IX in which a group of anthropomorphic rat women (among them the party's dragoon Freya Crescent, my favorite Final Fantasy character of all time) perform a magical riverdance to power a magical sandstorm that protects a city built into a tree. It's so stupid and I love it.

One more thing Master Thespian, Eric Roberts is the hardest working Man in show business. As of right now* 8:04 a.m. 6/4/24 Roberts is at 738 IMDB credits....with 83 in Production! What's amazing is that the overwhelming majority of his creidts are actual roles and not just a bunch of voice work. When posting the number of his IMDB credits, you have to be exact with time, because they can go up and down several times a day. Other than Porn and voice over, I can't think of any other actor that is at that level of Movie/TV/Short appearances. Nicolas Cage? Not even close. James Hong? Truly impressive, but again Roberts is way ahead. Robert's numbers are amazing. No, I am not Eric Roberts.

I am a huge fan of the original Riverdance soundtrack that came out back in 1995. I've always liked that kind of music. But once Michael Flatley took over and declared himself the "Lord Of The Dance", that was pretty much it for me. I remember how Denis Leary had a whole bit on his 1997 album mocking and ridiculing Flatley and I loved it. As for this movie, it’s nothing more than a vanity project done by a washed-up has-been, thanks for reviewing it!
